The media could not be loaded. The top put beautiful shimmery light on the ceiling, and love the large basin since I’m putting this in our green room outside (and water will evaporate). The minimal rocks provided leaves space to customize the fountain. The only con would be that I wish there was more built in lights or the ability to change the existing light colors. ... show more

    • The water isn't as loud as I would like, but...

...I really like the fountain. We have table top fountains in various rooms in our home, and we really enjoy the sound of a babbling brook-type thing. Most of our fountains make little to no "water" noise; you might hear the pump vibrate if the little suction cups of the motor come off the bottom of the container. So this fountain is just really pretty...love the blue'ish LED lights (normally, we are "warm white" light people, but these really work for this "washboard, waterfall" fountain. The lights are a bit bright, but if you push one, or two, down further into the hole, they appear less bright. You can even put the river rocks over them to dim the light. You can also opt to take the three lights off (they plug in to a a connector (which you also plug the pump into). The fountain/base is a resin and/or plastic material, very lightweight. We've only had it a few days and we really can't hear the water (or the pump, which is good!). I'm finagling ways to put some of the river rocks over the water source on the top to see if I can get it to make more of a babbling brook sound. The pump does have a little button that is supposed to adjust the water flow through the fountain. Seems like there are two adjustments (plus an off adjustment). But in order to change any of these, you have to take the river rock off the base/fountain, then lift it up, the pump comes up out of the water in the container and you have to play with the adjustment and plug in the fountain again to see which flow you've set it on. I mean, it's not *that* big of a deal...everything gets wet, just do it on the counter with a towel. I really have yet to figure out if any of those settings actually contribute to how much sound the fountain makes with respect to the water. Play with it and see. They also could have included a few more river rocks, but I have plenty, so I added more and these are something you can pick up at a craft store too. There's no on off switch. The length of the cord is decent. I also see no splashing of water outside the fountain, which is good ~ nothing gets wet outside the base. You should be aware of a whirring sound of the motor (or actually, any sound that is louder and different) because that indicates you need to add more water to the fountain. The pump quiets down right away after the water is added. Simply pour water on top of the river rock until the pump quiets down, maybe add a bit extra (you can add it up to the base where the river rocks are) and enjoy! ... show more

Don't buy this fountain unless you want water all over your desk. I turned the apump all the way down and it wouldn't pump the water...turned it up one more notch, still nothing...one more and it pours the water on the very edge of the bowl, causing it to pour out. Before you ask, yes, the surface it was on is level. I literally got out a level and checked. I also made sure that it was assembled correctly and the cord were coming out of the slot provided, which they were. So this should not be happening. I did end up putting two popsicle sticks stacked on top of each other under the one side just to get the water to land in the bowl evenly. Another thing to note is that it only came with enough rocks to cover half of the base. ... show more

It is amazing and works great and easy to assemble but, it does say you don’t need to care for it but after using it a lot it start to make noise (other then when this happens it is pretty silent) so you need to dump out the water and refill it. I got this as a gift so i didn’t pay for it but, I think it would be worth my money if I came across this item. I think this is a great present for someone who likes the sound of a quiet fountain. So overall I think this is a great product.🙂 ... show more

I like the design. Ambivalent about the light. Could use a few more stones, but then it's fun to find and place my own. Only issues I have noted are that the tube isn't quite long enough for the pump to rest on the bottom of the bowl. Not a big deal - just keep the water level up. Gets noisier when water is too low so you can tell it's time to add water. One time it didn't turn on. I emptied and cleaned it and added fresh water and it was fine. My wife could easily make something like this from pottery, then I could add my own pump and have another (definitely more costly that way, but it would be a gift with meaning). ... show more
