Update August 15, 2024. Tablet won't turn on now. Flashes the symbol of the manufacturer. But nothing beyond that. Won't charge either. Not with any of my working chargers that I use to charge my tablet, Samsung phone, or my nieces tablets. Chargers have been purchased within the last week - 6 months. I bought this tablet to replace an old Verizon tablet whose battery came close to going up in flaming glory. Here are some pros and cons on this low cost tablet. Pros: It has the Google App Store. Many if not most Chinese tablets have removed the Google store. The price is pretty low. At under $50 it has a pretty good spec. sheet. The speakers are loud and clear. Many tablets in this category have awful speakers. WiFi sensitivity is good. It can see networks three houses away. This tablet actually has a gps. I doubted the spec reference to a gps. Often cheap tablets emulate gps using cell data. Cons: It’s thick and heavy. Carrying this thing around would be tiresome. Short battery life. Terrible, awful low resolution display. Here’s the main downside. It has the worst implementation of Android I have ever seen. I logged in as administrator and I still can not do crap. To get the time to set properly, you have to go outside so the gpa can do it’s thing. It’s slow for its spec sheet. You can get a beer from the fridge while it boots, twice. Will I keep it? Yes. I have a special application. I am using it as a touch screen controller for my 3D printer. This is done by side loading an XML client. For this narrow application is works just fine. I am surprised honestly. It is slow, but for the amount it cost and the fact that i bought for my granddaughter who is only 2 then i would say it honestly was a good buy. I have even considered purchasing a few more because we do use tables for a single app use in our company for our employees. Which doesn't require anything fancy. Just something that they can punch a button every 2 to 10 hours. It's useful. It is not a name brand quality, but i like it none the less. If you are looking for a cheap option. When I first started it was DOA due to no battery charge but after waiting a bit then starting it up while charging the teb was on the way to fully charging. The way it starts up is a commical rotating orb of what seems to be a long range camera lense...the weird part is that. The Tab has truely a beautiful screen easy activation barring those Play Protect updates, that being important of course. For the price and propper care I can not see any reason to downgrade it...runs very good, my Husband loves it. LB ... show more
