Excellent tool. This tool is a bargain. Everything is well made and accurate. It fit my drill press perfectly. I was up and running cutting mortises quickly. I was never able to afford a dedicated mortise machine. Years ago even the drill press attachments like this one were expensive. When I saw this one at its price, I was amazed. The unit come packaged it a well made case, with everything you need to get started. I was able to make clean mortises right off. As with all woodworking tools, I will sharpen them to get the best I can out of them. There are many YouTube videos on mortise drill sharpening. I highly recommend this tool.

The bits are ok but could be sharper. The best part is the clamp housing that holds the bits. It is however made slightly long and would'nt allow the bit to slip up into the chuck where it would catch and hold. I had to raise the housing 1/4" above the metal ring mount above the chuck to get the bit far enough up into the chuck to catch. After that it worked well. The fense and clamps dont work the best on my drill press. They are limiled in how far they can be adjusted to clamp and hold the wood. Thd product is well made with heavy steel.

Easy to use and works well. I bought this to cut small windows in wooden craft houses and it’s perfect for that. I’ll work well for mortises too, I’ll just need to be a little more precise when making those cuts. Overall- a great addition to the shop and WAY cheaper than a mortising machine.

After careful measurements taken on my Wen drill press, I decided to give this attachment a try. I knew it wouldn't fit perfectly, as my press is not tall enough, but I was reasonably sure I could use it with a makeshift base after turning the integrated base off to the side of the press. The smallest plastic collar that fits around the quill was slightly too large, but a few layers of painters tape over the quill solved this issue and the top of the attachment mounts securely to the body of the drill press. It works fairly well, making cutting a mortise much faster. The bits included have a 19mm collar, which seems to be a common replacement size. I use scrap 2x8 cuts secured to my bench with clamps as an improvised base for it instead of the lower attachment that came with it.

Mortising kit is well made the only issue im having is that it is too small for my one drill press to slide onto the shaft and it doesn't come with enough smaller adapters to fit the smaller drill press.

I have a delta floor drill press. This product did not fit my quill. Using a spindle sander I was able to enlarge the opening by 1mm to make it fit. However, the big disappointment is with the chisels. They do not cut, not even dimensional lunmber ( 2x4 ). Forget hardwoods like maple, walnut, and cherry. The product seems to be very solidly made, but the chisels leave a lot to be desired. I might try some different brand chisels, otherwise I will just throw it in the garbage bin.
