I bought this item in October 2024 (so less than a year ago). It is now shorting out when in use. If it is plugged in and turned on and the cord moves around at all you can hear it crackling at the base where the cord attaches. It is definitely a bad connection because it will then just shut off on its own. Not worth the price is it doesn’t even last a year. Also seems like it is likely a fire hazard at this point. Update: I attempted to reach out to the company. I submitted a form to file a warranty claim including proof of purchase. I received an email stating it would be reviewed and I would hear back in 3-4 days. It has now been 7 days and no response. Very disappointing.

I think the flat iron works well but it’s incredibly difficult to change the heat setting. I curl my hair on a temperature that’s too hot because I can’t remember how to turn the flat iron down smh. Even when I pull out the directions it takes me a couple of tries to adjust the temperature.
