  • As Advertised. Worked Perfectly, Seller Shipped Quickly. A+
Size: 4"x20'
Great seller! Delivered quickly and was exactly as advertised. Installed in a few short minutes and seals the bottom of the garage door to the garage door apron. The most important thing to remember when installing a garage door bottom seal is to make sure the seal does not have any hard kinks in it prior to attempting to install it. Fortunately, this seller does not fold the door seals prior to shipping them. This seller rolls the seal up which prevents kinks from occurring during shipping so that the installation goes easy. It's also important to make sure the seal track at the bottom of the door is clean prior to installing, and spraying a little WD-40 on the track also helps ease installation. ... show more

  • Fortunately, the wife didn't spot and I was able ...
Size: 4"x20'
I had been putting off replacing the garage door seal for some time now anticipating that it was going to be a pain sliding it into the T channel. The old seal finally developed a hole at one end allowing a garter snake to work it's way into the garage. Fortunately, the wife didn't spot and I was able to get it out without her being the wiser. But, happy wife happy life. So I ordered it and installed it as soon as it arrived. Installation turned out to be a piece of cake. I immediately abandoned the "sliding it in" method as that did not work out so well. Instead, I cut the seal to size and stretched it out on the floor under the door. With the door at about a foot off the ground, I loosely taped the seal to the door every four feet or so all the way across. I brought the garage door to about five feet off the ground, I proceeded to use a flat tip screwdriver to carefully push one side of the inside part of the seal into the channel. After having secured about a foot of it into place using the tip, I simply positioned one side of the T into the channel about six or eight inches at a time and then ran the screwdriver blade flat over the rest of it. That brought in the other side of the T into the channel. Removed the tape as I went along and in no time, side one was done. I then came back and did the same thing with the other side of the seal and like I said... it was a piece of cake. ... show more

  • Too tight for my door
Size: 4"x20'
It was a tough installation as it did not want to go in my door. The T was 1/8 of an inch wider than my original. I tried WD 40 and soapy water with no luck. I ended up trimming it with a box knife angled to only shave off about an 1/8th of an inch from the T on both back sides. That worked well for the first yard, but it was difficult to get a grip on the soapy rubber and pull evenly. I found that if I stuck a short length of 1x2" wood in the leading end, I could grip the rubber around the block and get a good grip. ... show more

  • Easy project - even a girl can do it!!!
Size: 4"x20'
This is the first time I ever changed the garage door bottom rubber seal. My home is 30 years old and honestly I don't think this seal was ever changed. My old rubber seal was brittle, hard as a brick, and pieces were missing causing gaps under the garage door. I watched several YouTube videos before attempting to replace this by myself. The seal I received was 4 inches wide as advertised. Installation was a breeze. Would have been even faster with 2 people. I think I may use other reviewers' suggestions and place a long piece of foam in the space between the garage door bottom and the seal for a tighter close. ... show more

  • item received did not match description
Size: 4"x20'
ordered 4"x20' received 2-3/4" x 20'. I now have almost a 1" gap in the middle of my garage door since the seal was not wide enough to compensate for an unleveled garage floor. If i had received the correct 4" with, the extra width would have compensated as my old worn out seal did.

  • I ordered 20' and it came in 2 - 10' lengths.
Size: 4"x20'
I ordered 20' and it came in 2 - 10' lengths. I needed a continuous 16' length, so now I'm trying to figure out how make a weather tight splice/seam.

  • Nice Product
Size: 4"x20'
Nice product; I'd recommend buying 1" caulk saver foam (or something similar) to place between the garage door bottom and this E-end Rubber Seal because there is a large empty space and this foam will help push the rubber seal to the ground creating a tighter seal to the ground.
