Still remolding our little home. Had a bare lightbulb for months. I was searching for what I wanted there for quite some time. I found a similar light, but it was way more than I wanted to spend. I've never bought a new dining fixture and always used what was there before we moved in. I wanted a style that would last and still be "new" from what we've ever had before. When saw this fixture I was so happy with the style and price! I was really happy when it arrived. I bought a medallion and painted it with a color we used as an accent color around the living and dining room. The chain is long and you can cut it to the length that is good for your application. My husband installed immediately (he was happy to have a fixture finally), without any problems. I like that there is a shade around the lights so you aren't blinded when you look toward the dining area. The shade is a linen like fabric in white. The only reason I did not give this light a full 5 stars is because the assembly instructions were a little confusing. When listing out the parts, I thought I was missing the O ring. Well the little hanging piece comes apart to make the O ring and the hanging pendant. Took me a "minute" to figure this out. Overall a perfect light to hang in our dining room. ... show more
