While a little more expensive than other light fixtures of this style, I decided to spring for this one given the size, style, and overall positive reviews. I've installed dozens of light fixtures and ceiling fans and this one was definitely not a walk in the park. Each bar had to be connected and wired up to the main stalk. It gives lot of flexibility in how you attach the bars, but makes for a tricky installation. I read that other customers had difficulty with the glass orbs. I didn't seem to have the same troubles. I installed everything just fine and even though the bulbs highlighted the minor scratches on the glass orbs, it wasn't really that big of a deal. The thing for me that makes this only a 4/5 star product is the ceiling mount. For starters, my electrical box stuck out of the ceiling maybe 1/4", and the way the mounting bracket attaches to the box, the light base can only go as high as the mounting bracket, so this left an ugly 1/4" gap between the light base and the ceiling. It's really hard to describe but I am super unhappy that the base of the light can't snug up closer to the ceiling drywall. Related to this, you have to wire the entire fixture while holding it in your hand before you can mount it to the ceiling bracket. This was really challenging to do alone. One thing that would have made this product 10x better is if you could mount the entire thing to the ceiling and _then_ wire it up. This would make installation much easier and could possibly open the door to an adjustable light base cover that could be better adjusted to the installer's ceiling. Nevertheless, I'm really happy with this fixture. I love the size and style - it's exactly what we were looking for.

We bought this chandelier because we wanted to swag it since our junction box is in a weird spot on the ceiling. None of the globes arrived damaged; they were packed really well and they provided an extra one in case of breakage. You have to come into this knowing that you're basically building the thing. And the wiring for some reason is just kind of slap-dash. They don't put much thought into making the wires evenly cut, so you're having to strip wires to make it work. You have to have a wire stripper for this assembly. You’ll also need a bag of assorted sized wire caps - the ones they give you are too small for having to cut and shove a bunch of wires together. You’ll need bigger caps. And a lot of patience. There was a lot of cursing going on during this process. I was super disappointed that two of the globe mounts were scratched. It's clear that quality control is not super important, but since it took such an effort to install, and in the end it works great and looks nice, I just relented and live with it. You can't really see it unless you've got a zoom lens. ;)

The media could not be loaded. Nice adjustability. To avoid the wiring difficulties people talk about, add a few inches of wire to the power lead coming out of the housing. That way you can connect all the wires outside the housing, and shove everything back in after. Mounting to the ceiling is a pain. The light is heavy enough to bend the included mounting bar, so you need to put anchors in the ceiling and screws in each side.

The media could not be loaded. I returned this product the first time due to issues with the wiring. Amazon made the return easy. After searching around, I could not find a light I liked better so I reordered. On the 2nd go, I still found the internal wiring were uneven which made them difficult to wrap all together. The trick is use a wire stripper to strip out your wires down to the length of the shortest wire. It will make connecting and wrapping them together so much easier when the wires are all exposed at the same height. I did not trim the exposed wire to the same length but just used the longer exposure to make it easier to wrap together. After wrapping them together use the white plastic cap and clamp to squeeze the end of the cap together to hold the wire (watch their installation video). It’s not one of those caps you can twist into place. Use electric tape to seal the exposed wires and hold them in place (you will need to buy the tape separately). They also provide a protective wrap you can use with electric tape to seal any exposed wire. Keep in mind before buying the fixture that it is held to the ceiling by two screws on the side and not from the center. So flat ceiling works great but if you have a fancy circle like my ceiling with ridges that makes it nearly impossible to screw from the side, it will take some creativity to hang it from the center. FYI there will likely be small cosmetic defects on the back of the copper metal parts although probably not noticeable after hanging. For the price, look and value, I give it 5 stars. It will take time to install if you do it DYI.

As other commenters said, assembly is difficult, wiring isn’t clear. Also the product came damaged. But once it’s hung I didn’t notice. It DOES NOT take standard size bulbs. All in all, it’s cute just a little complex.

This lamp looks stellar for the money, the build quality isn’t great (on metal parts) be very careful while driving the screws while assembling it, you can easily damage the nut thread. Still great for the money.

Very nice, but would recommend a electrician to install. As you have to wire all the lights in the middle part which is about 32 wires. Very nice looking. I’m an electrician also and this was a little tough for myself with years of knowledge.
