I've wanted a hammock for a while, and with a weekend camping trip coming up, I finally got this one. I'd never even used a hammock before, so I waited till everyone else left the campsite before I actually tried to get into it so I didn't look like a moron if I failed. Figured it out pretty quickly, though I'm still working out the ideal height for both getting into it and out of it. I'm 'older' so getting out is tough. The hammock is very easy to set up and to adjust. The straps give a lot of options and allow for a good distance between the trees. Despite being so thin, this hammock is very strong. Be aware that the straps will settle on the tree once you add weight, which is a little unnerving the first time. Haven't tried it with more than one person, but I'm confident it would hold. The fabric is also very cooling, which was nice in the warmer afternoons. If it's a cool day, just add a blanket. I enjoyed lying in it to read, and I also used it as a sort of chair. The storage pouch is attached so you never lose it, and it's pretty roomy, so you can use it for your water bottle or even a paperback book. Got this for my wife as she's been wanting a hammock for relaxing when we are out camping. She couldn't be more happy with it. It comes with some really nice straps and is easy to set up. It's great for sitting in sideways on the lakes edge. I would never want to try sleeping in it, but I am a side sleeper and would never be able to sleep in any conventional hammock. Getting in and out is a little challenging but once in, the material is very strong. Most of the issues I had were probably related to user error. The hanging hardware is a nice touch, no ropes to tie makes it much easier to put up/take down. This thing is wide... I could probably cut it in half and make 2 hammocks out of it, lol. I’ll be honest, when I first saw the hammock I was pretty skeptical of the quality due to the price ($11) however, I decided to give it a go. I’m actually amazed at the quality of the hammock, so much so that I ordered a second one. What I really like is that the straps that connect it to the tree are roughly 10ft each and have tons of different mounting points. I was actually able to set the hammock up between two trees that were over 20ft apart. Even the carabiner clips seems to be high quality. This hammock is insane. I have twin boys and they have done everything you can think of on or to this hammock. It was so dirty so I washed it in the washing machine on cold and it looks brand new. I cannot believe it has stood up to the abuse from my kids, lol. It’s so comfortable too. I know it says double but myself and my 3 kids all lay in it easily and it still feels so safe.
