Not sure what I was expecting for 400.00, but it's a bike for a kid no older than 5-6. My 9 year old rode it for about 15 min in grass and chunks of the tire started flying off and hit the exhaust pipe... Second time putting the kick stand down it broke off. It had not been welded properly just had one tack weld. Very very cheap save up a little more and buy a better bike.. I'm sorry I bought this. ... show more

Engine has not started yet due to no 2stroke oil. Update when running if I remember. Item came in box the had no damage and some foam packing. As you can see through pics foam didn't help much. Plastics looked unfinished with edges needing trimmed flush. Damage to some plastic via rubbing. Rusty bolts/frame. Corrosion on most parts that are metal. Tires look used with dirt on tires and rubber hairs bent back and broken off. Rims were rather dirty for a 'new' item... Brake dics show previous signs of use. Handle bars scartched badly next grips. Seat cover excessively loose and will likely rip due to this. Crimp on brake cables just fell off. Warning/safety stickers on bike peeling but name brand and graphics that you have to put on are of nice quality,, though rolled up and require a hair dryer to flatten out for ease of sticking on.. Tried assembly with given tools... had nuts I was required to tighten with nothing to fit. Other tools bent. Gave up and used my own. Over all build quality is subpar. Though I feel like this was a return with new parts added/changed out to make it look new. DO NOT expect this to be like a name brand bike i.e. Honda, kawasaki, and such. This is a budget built item not even on par with SSR pit bikes. For what they ask for it you get what you pay for if you find it around 300, try not to pay more. ... show more

    • Missing and defective parts

Right out of the box we were missing a lot of hardware for the assembly such the bolts to mount the brake calipers and the rear shock. The gas cap was also missing. The tools that were sent with the installation kit did not fit the bolts that came with it. After establishing what size and thread count bolts were needed finish the assembly and a trip to the hardware store.... I got her assembled minus the gas cap only to find that the carburetor was pouring gas out of the petcock valve. Even after all this the motor would still not start. So here I am about a month before Christmas trying to break down and repair a brand new dirt bike that hasn't even had its first ride yet. I absolutely do not recommend this product to anyone. I was one of the unlucky ones that received a dud right out of the box. I'm sure if you get one of the good ones it might be okay however I am missing almost all of the assembly hardware, gas cap and everything leaks and won't start. ... show more

Read all of this. To start this off i work at a motorcycle dealership and build bikes for a living. I bought this for Christmas for my son. I spent the extra on this one instead of a cheaper one thinking it would be worth it. I got it yesterday i put it together tighten everything up double check everything set spark plug gap grease chain and both axles so the bike has the best chance for its money right. I mix up some gas for it. It takes like 5 times to get it to fire but whatever. Shuts off. Fire it back up i pull it outside once i get it fired back up about 5 more pulls as soon as it makes it out the damn door it shuts off again and i am having to give it throttle the whole time to keep it running. Im like crap pull and pull and pull. Nothing check the safety harness and kill switch everything is fine i pulled it apart to make sure nothing grounded out. Check fuel fine check plug fine still no spark. Go and buy another spark plug thinking its a crap plug still nothing tear into the side under pull start housing and re set the gap for the coil thinking it got loose or something wrong its junk. It ran for 5 seconds and it burnt the coil out of it. And i have had to put money into a brand new unit. And it still doesn’t work. Called Amazon trying to get it ironed out and they cant do anything and want me to pay shipping back. We will contact the seller. I want at least 150 back for the additional parts i have had to order and having to fix a brand new unit and all the haste I’ve gotten. And to top it off the bike looks nothing like the pictures. What a crock of crap man i mean to tell you. Bite the bullet and buy a honda or a Yamaha. A real bike not this junk. Zero stars if I could. What a disappointment and i pray i can fix it before Christmas for my son. ... show more

My son enjoyed this dirt bike, for about a day. That’s all the use we got out of it. It didn’t stay running from the start.. which is a problem in itself. Considering at 6 years old, he’s not able to pull start it himself when he stops for a drink of water. The last time he went to ride it, I had made him wait for about an hour as I was finishing yard work. He sat patiently and to his disappointment after that wait I started it up, it shut off instantly, & started spewing gasoline all over my driveway. When I went to request a refund to send it back, that option was not available. No way to contact the company. I hit the button that said I didn’t receive the item. That worked. They contacted me within 24 hours. That’s when I told them about my issue.. and that id like a refund. Waiting for a response & will update this review accordingly if they issue me a refund and allow me to return this. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for”. I’ll be taking my son to the local Kawasaki dealer to pick out a new dirt bike. Like I should have from the beginning. ... show more
