    • Solid Carry-On Kit for ROG Ally X, But With One Flaw

I recently purchased the ROG Ally X Carry-On Kit, which includes a screen protector, carrying case, and rubber grip skin for the device. Overall, the kit is well put together and offers great value. The carrying case is well-designed, providing excellent protection while keeping chargers and accessories neatly organized. The molded design perfectly accommodates the handles and buttons, ensuring a secure fit. The screen protector was also a standout—it came with two extras and a cleaning wipe, making installation easy and effective. However, the grip skin for the device was the one downside. While it offers extra protection, it interferes with gameplay by limiting the full range of motion for the joysticks. The rubber fitment around the joysticks causes them to max out prematurely, which can be frustrating during gameplay. Overall, this is a great kit for protection and portability, but the grip skin could use some redesigning to avoid interfering with the controls. ... show more

After using it for a few months, the case, screen protector, 9.5 out of 10. The joy stick covers.... if you ever wanted to nerf yourself, this is the way. Interested in nerfing yourself even more, add the rubber condom on. Joystick range is cut to a third of the movement (exaggerating a little), still I was playing Battlefield 2042. I'm trying to sweep my field of view, and just end up turning slightly to the direction I was going for and then I hit molasses. The condom also catches the buttons at times, pinning the button so it continues pressing, or makes it more difficult to press. Case/Screen Protector: 9.5 out of 10 Silicone bits: -9.5 out of 10. If you want to self nerf, or add physical lag (not internet lag), then its a 10 out of 10. I'll be looking for better condom for my Ally X. ... show more
