This is actually the 3rd one I bought of this brand. My other 2 went together much easier but for some reason my couldn’t get the doors to hang right on this one. I adjusted them for HOURS, removing them multiple times and reattaching. Finally I realized that the entire cabinet must not be fully square causing the uneven doors. I had to remove the nailed on back, make it square then re-nail in. Tip for set up: To prevent this on initial assembly only nail in about 1/3 of the nails (doing about every 3rd hole around it). Once you see how the doors hang- you can: get them adjusted to close correctly, make sure there’s no gap between the doors and are flush/square with the cabinet - THEN go back and add the rest of the nails to the back. Make sure to add the bracket anchor to prevent the cabinet from tipping over once set up! Don’t need little ones, pets or other loved ones getting crushed by it. ... show more

Product arrived on time and when I went to put it together some of the screws were stripped out and had to use bigger screws.After I was done putting it together I noticed that it was curved off to one side(like warped or bent.I went to put the door on and one of the hinges had to be bent back to it's original shape.Over all this cabinet will be in the dumpster as it is of no use.Waste of time and money but to heavy to ship back and I would never get it into the box. ... show more

Been looking for something like this, I only had about 28” between the wall and the electrical box not including the baseboard and a lot of other options from Amazon, IKEA, or Lowe’s were either too long/ short/ or out of budget. Pro: - shipped safely, good packaging. - easy to build - soft close doors Con: - door handles are low quality, little rough around the edges. Can’t tell from a distance. - no baseboard? The bottom doesn’t have a finished look. - heavy material, box was a pain to get inside the house. Make sure you get some help. ... show more

    • Hinge assembly difficult, the rest is fine
I ordered 3, knowing about the complaint about the hinges, but thought it would be all right. They ARE a little tricky to align (but doable), and I noticed it was because the sides of the cabinet were consistently warped in the center. This warp also made it difficult to install the shelves in the center of the cabinet (still doable, though). The hinges are the biggest point of contention because the warp causes a small misalignment, but also because there was NO WAY I could have screwed them in without my drill. The included screws would not otherwise go through their holes in the hinges, in which they came seated in. The instructions say to install a (detachable) side of the hinges onto one side of the cabinet, in the first step. When I did this building my first cabinet, it was a bit difficult to get the door (with the other half of the hinges) to snap into place and I needed help holding it (the door seems to be the heaviest side). It took a few tries and is tenuously attached. So far, so good. I DID find a workaround for the bad hinge alignment but it takes a little care. In building the second cabinet I waited until it was time to install the door, to attach the hinges (skipping them in the first step). I laid the cabinet on its side, and did not separate the hinges into two pieces as instructed— I just kept them together, and laid the door down next to the assembled cabinet before screwing in any hinge. The trick, though, is to make sure the door is supported so that it’s weight doesn’t bend the hinges too far. The door should sit at an angle where the hinges pop in without being bent in an odd way. The rest of assembly is easy. The cabinets look fine but were dirty out of the box, and most boards were scuffed. The doors were not, on the fronts (though one had a small scratch) which is why I didn’t return them. They’re nice looking for the price. ... show more

    • Clean design; but low quality hinges require some extra effort during assembly
The box only had interior edge guards on three of the long corners - missing on the fourth. I searched, but did not see any interior damage. I initially thought the back panel was missing; but the unfinished side of it is the same color as the cardboad box, so was initially overlooked. Assembly was straight forward, with easy to follow instructions. The only issue was the door hinges. Three hinges snapped-in easilly; but the other three needed considerable finessing to encourage them to align and attach. Also, the plates that cover the adjustment screws would not attach - needed pliers to bend a clip back on two of the covers which out-of-the-box had been pinched-in too far. We are not using the three adjustable shelves. We are using the cabinet to store brooms, a mop, and extendable dusting arms. All fit fine, leaving the top fixed shelf to store a few supplies. So far, working well for our needs in our laundry room. ... show more

    • A lot of medium sized issues, but worth it in the end.
The instructions are minimal. It does not show the best order in which to connect the pieces. The instructions did not give any information about how to connect the door to the hinges of the cabinet. The information on Amazon should have included a reminder that it would have to attach it to a wall, as well, because it is front heavy and could fall over. Also, a comment from 3 months ago said Amazon was going to correct the photos. The product still arrived different from what was advertised. It has a light grey door, but the rest is really dark grey. I needed to order 4 additional shelves. ... show more
