These definitely bring my dry eyes some relief. This is a preservative-free eye drop to prevent eye irritation and bacteria which can cause eye infections (Google eye drop recall preservatives). The single dropper dispenser is designed to deliver one drop. You prime the bottle by turning it upside down and gently squeeze to start the release of a drop (see photo) then you can let go, still holding it upside down, and when ready squeeze to release it fully into the eye. There are videos on YouTube about how to use preservative-free eye drops. I use these drops at night since they coat the eyes and the liquid is slightly viscous. It’s not anywhere as thick as eye ointments or gel drops that need to be used at night, but my preference is to let it work without the need to wipe it all away. But it can be used any time. Just give it a minute to absorb. Be sure to wash your hands and eyes first before applying any drops to prevent bacteria from entering the eye (advice from Dr. Joseph J. Allen who has a YouTube channel called DoctorEyeHealth. For extremely dry eyes he recommends ivizia drops). ... show more

Best drops on the market Recommended by my Opthalmologist and have never regretted using them Live in an area of the world where we have Sahara dust and use these three to four times daily Very much prefer drops than gels and the are preservative free to boot!!

I found that after cataract surgery my eyes were continually dry. I wanted a preservative free lubricant product. I really like this product but I do find the wide top applicator and firm container a little difficult to use, but I think it is made this way for a specific reason. Maybe the manufacture can speak to this design. The product itself works very well in relieving the dryness and I find I need to use it just once a day. I will purchase again. ... show more

I wish I could get this product in a normal eyedrop bottle. This dispenser is the worst and I end up wasting the product needlessly as it is so difficult to get just a single drop out of there. The drops work great, though.
