When installing I made sure to zip tie the built in heat resister away from any plastic in my car as it states it can overheat. Also zip tie the black cord and the block. Everything else was easy to install by using YouTube (if needed).

I found some other brand more brighter bit all in all they are good. They don’t work with the 2018 RAV4 limited hybrid model. They do work with the 2018 RAV4 XLE AWD

    • Work Well. Does not cause hyperflashing - yet polarity is important.
The lights are bright and and provide white DRL and amber brinkers in one nice package. The rubber gasket on the bulb is nicely designed and fits snuggly in my application. Both the amber and white lights are nice and bright. The two lessons I learned with the installation of these bulbs: 1) Do not use hazards to test the bulbs. At least in my car - hyperflashing only occurs with the turn signals and only after the first three flashs. 2) Polarity Matters - for hyperflashing. The bulbs will work when testing without issues no matter what way the the polarity is. Yet the hyperflashing will only occurs when the wiring inserted in one direction. It would be nice if the seller marked the ground terminal on the bulb plug. The aluminum housing for the resister does get warm. Long term failure rate is yet to be determined. ... show more

Great for those who like the clean look of LEDs and want to get some cool switchbacks in their car super easily. It was easy for me at least, just plugged them into the existing connector and it worked right away, without hyper flashing or error codes. I've had them for about a year now and one of them has stopped switching which im 98% sure is due to corrosion, and water getting into the housing. !!! When you first buy and install these I would recommend making sure the connection is water-tight so you don't have my issue and have to buy new ones because the corrosion snapped off the pins.     • Very easy install, plug and play
Installed on my 14' chevy cruze. I didn't want to splice into the factory harness so I was looking for a plug and play harness for a different LED switchback I bought. All of the plugs and sockets I bought for the homemade with harness with a resister never fit the factory harness plug and fit loosely or didn't fit in the headlight without modification to the socket or headlight assembly. I bought this light that has the built in resister and an awesome rubber gasket socket that fit in the headlight assembly perfect. No need to fit in perfectly to the headlight assembly and turn to lock because of this set up. I've had several car washes since and it seals nicely. Been installed for a few weeks without issue so far. ... show more
