These chairs are pretty easy to assemble, and look fantastic. They look pretty high quality and I expect that they'll last a long while. I love to sit in them and swivel (it's the little things...). I was worried that my cats would like the texture too much and try to scratch up the fabric, but they have only had minimal interest in that when I first assembled them. I'm pretty short, and they're really comfortable for me (needs a throw pillow or something for some lumbar support), but might not be as comfortable for people on the taller end of the spectrum. I think they're intended for carpeted floors. The "feet" on them have tiny, hard bumps. If you set them on hardwood floors, I expect they'd scratch your floors up pretty quickly. I've tried to stick felt furniture pads under the feet, but they keep just falling off. ... show more
