Instead of closing this at the normal speed, this one’s quietdrift mode is practically silent. Since it moves the curtain 1% at a time. It uses more battery though, so you may want to consider the solar panel. I’ll be giving that a try.

The media could not be loaded. I have two Curtain V2 and now two Curtain V3 on two sets of double doors. While the motor is more powerful in V3, it still has a hard time making it past the expandable section of curtain rods where the smaller piece turns into the larger piece. Even though my curtain rod has a pretty smooth transition from smaller to larger parts of the rod, the V3 is no better than the V2 in this regard. It still gets stuck. They include a single metal piece in each box that you are supposed to wrap around the transition to help it make it past that area but even though I installed it correctly, it made matters even worse. Pretty disappointed, but they were recognized by my Google Home app correctly and am waiting for the Home Assistant SwitchBot plug-in to be updated to support it. You should be okay if your rod doesn't have an expandable section on it. ... show more
