Ordered this controller almost a year ago when I bought my switch to use temporarily until I got an actual pro controller. I have to say: It works so good that I find myself swapping over to it or even using it more than Nintendo's official controller. The biggest problem I have with the official Pro Controller is that in terms of analog stick movements, the movements are too sensitive. For most games, this is not an issue but for games like Smash Ultimate or Mario Party Superstars where you need the right Smash input or precise movements (Paths of Peril,) the extra sensitivity results in different tilt inputs being registered if the stick isn't fully dead-on in the right direction, or causes you to fall off the course easily. I like using the GCHT Gaming controller over it because it gives me more control over the inputs I want to do and to me puts it close to the Gamecube Controller in terms of functionality. Have not had any issues with analog stick drift yet or buttons not working, so it's still going strong. All in all, I definitely recommend this controller to any one on a budget that doesn't want to drop $60 on the official controller. August 7th 2023 Update - This controller to this day has not had a single issue whatsoever. All the buttons work and every thing. I know people aren't usually big on 3rd-party companies especially if it comes from China (products can be hit or miss,) but I still stand by that for the Switch, this is the best off-brand Switch controller you can get for a good deal. So good, in fact, that I will be trying out their Wired Controller for PC and Switch since my Dualshock 4's buttons have started going bad.

The media could not be loaded. I go over all this in the review, but if you don't want to read far, buy the controller! It's great and I highly recommend it. This controller has a very similar look and feel to the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. It connects to the console within seconds out of the box... I think that's a very big deal. It seems to have a good charge, I haven't had issues there. It wakes up the console from sleep, which is really great. It's much cheaper than the Pro Controller and is nearly as good for around $25 instead of the $70 for the Pro Controller. My two nitpicks are: the rumble isn't very refined, which I don't care much about, as I leave rumble off anyway; and the placement of the plus and minus buttons are different than the Pro Controller's, although you'll probably get used to it very quickly. I did. The package was delivered quickly, all intact, and my communications with their customer service has been excellent. They also advertise 12 months no-hassle repair or replacement, I believe, so I don't see much risk in spending this amount of money for a controller that is better than anything on the system besides the Pro Controller and cheaper than other alternatives. This controller is an acceptable substitute for the official Nintendo Pro-Con. It's got a comfortable grip and the gyro works like a charm. The face buttons are very stylish, too--not simply using a rehash of a sans-serif face. Furthermore, the amiibo functionality support is a nice addition that will please many an amiibo owner. Would definitely recommend to those needing a classic controller to up their game. That said, the manual's English instructions contain many weird sentence constructions. Those made some of the controller's advanced features more confusing than intended. This is especially prevalent in the manual's description for adjusting the rumble, as shown in the photo. Of course, I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the other languages included in the manual, as I am not fully fluent in those. Still, I feel that if the manufacturers had their manual checked over by a native English speaker, those errors could be fixed and the controller's true potential could be more easily understood. Nevertheless, I will continue to enjoy my GCHT GAMING controller with my Nintendo Switch for many years to come.

I'll be honest - I was amazed at the quality of this Switch pro wireless controller at this affordable price point. What you will notice by far is how comfortable this controller is to hold. It is very responsive with zero lag/delay. Again, it is exceedingly ergonomic and great for extended play. The buttons are nice and 'clicky' and everything functions as I would expect. Battery life is as listed, about 10 hours - more than enough. GCHT GAMING also includes a very comprehensive instruction booklet for calibration, if you need to do that (my controller was properly configured straight out of the box). I tested this with open-world/racing/fighting/sidescrolling gameplay and found the controller to be a great fit for all different kinds of play. The only minor 'cons' I can say is that the vibration, while quite good, is a little noisy; and if it was me, I would have swapped the home button and turbo button on the controller, as I have little use for the turbo. For the price, you literally can't go wrong. If you are in the market for a wireless pro controller for the Switch, and only want to pay a third of the OEM price for a controller that is just as good - this is the controller for you. Very, very pleased with this controller - you won't be disappointed!
