Ordered this controller almost a year ago when I bought my switch to use temporarily until I got an actual pro controller. I have to say: It works so good that I find myself swapping over to it or even using it more than Nintendo's official controller. The biggest problem I have with the official Pro Controller is that in terms of analog stick movements, the movements are too sensitive. For most games, this is not an issue but for games like Smash Ultimate or Mario Party Superstars where you need the right Smash input or precise movements (Paths of Peril,) the extra sensitivity results in different tilt inputs being registered if the stick isn't fully dead-on in the right direction, or causes you to fall off the course easily. I like using the GCHT Gaming controller over it because it gives me more control over the inputs I want to do and to me puts it close to the Gamecube Controller in terms of functionality. Have not had any issues with analog stick drift yet or buttons not working, so it's still going strong. All in all, I definitely recommend this controller to any one on a budget that doesn't want to drop $60 on the official controller. August 7th 2023 Update - This controller to this day has not had a single issue whatsoever. All the buttons work and every thing. I know people aren't usually big on 3rd-party companies especially if it comes from China (products can be hit or miss,) but I still stand by that for the Switch, this is the best off-brand Switch controller you can get for a good deal. So good, in fact, that I will be trying out their Wired Controller for PC and Switch since my Dualshock 4's buttons have started going bad.

I bought the white, blue and red one of these controllers first, so I have had a bit of time to test most of the features. I don’t have much use for the Turbo, but I tested it and it works fine. Also I don’t have any Amiibo to test that part, but since everything else works really well I’m assuming that is functional too. As for the elements I can review: Comfort and feel: I love the feel of this controller! The buttons, triggers and especially the thumbsticks are really good. You might find the facebuttons a little clicky, but I genuinely like the feel. The controller also has some nice weight to it and the grip parts being textured is a really nice touch. Vibration: Not as precise as the Joycons. I initially thought the vibration had no range, but I was playing the wrong game. It actually is quite good, especially since you can adjust the overall intensity. I preferred it at the lowest setting, with 100% being too much for me. Look: This is a really nice looking controller. I have had many controllers over the years for many different consoles, and this is one of the nicest to look at and to hold. The only one I prefer is the white one of this same controller ;) Overall: Great product. I’m very happy with my purchase. Will probably get one more for myself and 2 more for a friend. Bonus: Works great on my Macbook Pro on OpenEmu too, which was a pleasant surprise as I tried installing a bunch of different things to get an Xbox 360 controller synched to no avail.

I bought this because liquid got on and into my official Switch Pro controller and I didn't feel like dropping another $70 + tax for a new one. Most of the other pro controllers I searched through didn't have a wakeup function, which is a feature I didn't really want to give up. I got this one for less than half the price of an official pro controller, and so far it has been a good experience. I use it as my main controller now, as the stock Joy Cons are a little small and uncomfortable to hold. I don't generally use the turbo function on controllers so I can't say how well that works, and I haven't changed the vibration strength either, so not sure about that. The controller doesn't feel cheaply made to me, the buttons and trigger work well and are quite responsive. The only real negative that I've noticed is that the thumb sticks on this controller are not always the most responsive. They work just fine most of the time, but when it comes to making fine adjustments, they could be a bit more sensitive. It's like there is a small dead zone where there's no movement, then once past it, the sensitivity shoots all the way up. I think I would have problems playing a first-person shooter with this, for example, but I suck at those anyway so it isn't a deal breaker for me. All in all, if you need a replacement controller like I did, or if you need a second controller for player 2, this is a good buy.

The media could not be loaded. I go over all this in the review, but if you don't want to read far, buy the controller! It's great and I highly recommend it. This controller has a very similar look and feel to the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. It connects to the console within seconds out of the box... I think that's a very big deal. It seems to have a good charge, I haven't had issues there. It wakes up the console from sleep, which is really great. It's much cheaper than the Pro Controller and is nearly as good for around $25 instead of the $70 for the Pro Controller. My two nitpicks are: the rumble isn't very refined, which I don't care much about, as I leave rumble off anyway; and the placement of the plus and minus buttons are different than the Pro Controller's, although you'll probably get used to it very quickly. I did. The package was delivered quickly, all intact, and my communications with their customer service has been excellent. They also advertise 12 months no-hassle repair or replacement, I believe, so I don't see much risk in spending this amount of money for a controller that is better than anything on the system besides the Pro Controller and cheaper than other alternatives.
