My son was so excited for this and was on his Christmas list so purchased it and it doesn't work! sometimes it charges, and then when charged we connect it to bat, doesn't record half of his swings, loses connection. Interface is not easy to use. Wish we could return it but packaging is gone. My son 13U and thought this would be a great tool and doesn't work as advertised

I absolutely love this product and wanted to give it a 5 start review. However there have been issues. My father and I run a baseball/softball school and we have around 100-120 kids that come through our facility weekly. We use this product along with other products to test, track, and set goals for our athletes. This product is great for tracking launch quickness, bat speed, hand speed, time in the zone, barrel path, and some other awesome metrics. It’s also easy to use with several players and can be switched from 1 player to another quickly for team use. The 3d visual of the barrel/bat path is an excellent resource as well. However, I had to return the first sensor I bought because it became stuck in the casing that attaches to the knob of the bat. Amazon refunded me no questions. This second one does not turn on all the time. We have constant issues with getting the sensor to turn on and every now and then the sensor misreads a swing, which is no big deal, but the 3 star rating is because we have issues getting the sensor to turn on. I do need to call diamond kinetics. I’m sure they wjll rectify the problem. Bottom line, great product I highly recommend for kids of all ages (10+).

I have a limited knowledge base for swing mechanics. This tool has helped quantify certain metrics, which has in turn helped diagnose problems in my daughters swing. Aside from that, my daughter really enjoys hearing the bat speed velocity announced when using this. There is a small learning curve, but is easy enough to understand. Diamond Kinetics also has good guides to help you along. Around here, most of the kids swing too big of a bat. You can use this to prove to other parents and coaches that the bigger bat is more inefficient.

We got this for our boys who avid baseball players, one is 9U and the other is 7U. They both loved this present on Christmas morning and after setting it up and using the sensor we wanted to use the membership to sign up for the upcoming baseball season and the provided code doesn't work. This is a not cool as we paid the $150 price which included the membership.

I bought a SwingTracker for my daughter not too long ago and have really been enjoying it. While I didn't know that there was a subscription, it was very reasonable and the metrics were extremely valuable. She is now able to make the corrections that her swing coach tells her to make, and she can actually see the difference. The customer service was very helpful with any questions we had, and spotted us a strap or two after the first wore down. Great product and value.
