This is a very nice mat for the price. I received it and was impressed by the weight, thickness and flex. Well worth the extra 40-50 dollars when looking at cheaper mats. The thickness of this mat makes up for the extra cost. I am an 8 handicap and hit around 1500 balls a week for practice. This should hold up for a good while, hopefully. This golf mat was impeccable. For the price compared to some other golf mats, it was great and the standard version does the job well. I would recommend this matt to anyone that is either learning to play golf or knows what they’re doing, but isn’t hitting great yet if you are better than that I’d recommend the pro because then you have a little bit more cushion and you know what you’re doing. The media could not be loaded. Received the mat and overall the quality seems nice. Went with the ultra version for the extra thickness. Foam padding is soft and mat doesn’t move when swinging. Mat measurements are a bit off 1 in of 5ft and almost 2 in of 4ft. Will try to update after use.

I am using this in my garage, indoor, so I am hoping that it will last a long time. I practice golf bear foot and the mat feel great under my feet. I love the size, its like the size of the mats at the driving range, I love that I have enough space in the mat to practice. When looking for a mat to hit from in the garage (concrete floor) I went down the path of many that try to do a home sim on a budget. I looked at countless mats from companies that I've never heard of and finally settled on this mat. That was a great decision and I feel it was worth a little bit more money for what I got. The extra padding on this eliminates the need to use foam tiles underneath. It's really soft and even my wife enjoys just standing on it for a moment when going in and out. It's great to hit off of and has 6 holes for the tubular rubber tees to go through. It did come with one that is designed to push a regular tee into so you can adjust the height. They did throw in some wooden tees as well as foam practice golf balls. Time will tell how it holds up, but I was really impressed with what we got at the hundred and fifty dollar mark here. The padding is already making a difference and hopefully eliminates some of the aches you get when hitting off a thin mat on a concrete floor. ... show more
