I've purchased those cheap boards from big box stores but this one definitely beats those in quality. A good size that even my 10 year old can use it to help keep her upper body up while working on kicks. The cutout for hands makes all the difference in control and my daughter prefers that to just grabbing on the sides. No more boards slipping out of her hands! It's a wonderful kickboard for a child, nice and floaty. the hand holes make it easy to grip when in the water either to use it as a kick board or if it's floating away from you. The material is nice and soft and non-abrasive. My child is about 50lbs and it kept him floating just fine.

Used this for a dozen times at the local Y. Got compliments for how beautiful the design is. But I can see that it’s peeling in some corners. For the price, I won’t complain too much. But do wish that it would be more durable.

Got this for my 5 year old who is still learning to swim independently - he usually can swim a bit on his own but prefers a float when going to the deep end. This makes him concentrate a bit more on kicking and puts his face closer to the water. This is a well made floaty board. It's not the cheap noodle type of foam material. It's really good foam material. The small size is perfect for the 3-10 year olds. My 5 year old is 3'6" and this fits her body perfectly. This is not adult size.

Its winter time and I am not going in the pool to try this out. I did put it in the tub to check you how much buoyancy it has and it seemed great for what it is designed to do. The media could not be loaded. This is a fine, basic kickboard. It’s a little on the smaller side for an adult kickboard, though it fits me well and still has plenty of floatation.
