I couldn’t be happier! These colorful little guys add so much to my 55gal tank. It’s funny how much personality they have. The color spread is PERFECT. I legitimately seem to have an equal number in each shade. All the shrimp are rather active and seem entirely healthy. I see them going toe to toe with my tiger barbs! Just got my first order of 20 mixed neos The packaging was SUPERIOR to say the least!!!!! All arrived health and alive but to my surprise there was well over 20 in the bag All were a real nice size and the colors were beautiful Got at least 5 colors and I received a very nice portion of Java moss as a bonus!!!!! ABSOLUTELY look forward to ordering again as this order came through Amazon Shipping was super fast and delivered via FedEx which I loved as well USPS just doesn’t do as nice or fast a job as FedEx in my opinion but everybody has one lol For me that’s just another plus for Swimming Creatures thanks again to a great small business that treats their customers awesome Job well done Swimming Creatures!!!!!😊😊 ... show more

I had bought 20 neocardina shrimp from another supplier and 17 died within 24 hours, because the seller kept giving me some back and forth in the communication, I decided to try another supplier and not ask I glad I did! I'm comparing everything to the first supplier in this review... The packaging, instead of a double bag packed with newspaper, swimming creatures puts the double bag inside a bubble wrap bag inside some safe insulation with a heat pack inside a durable box! The shipping, the other guy sent via USPS. I'm not dissng the mail people but they park the trucks for a long time while the mail person delivers to 3 blocks of houses, that's a long time to be sitting in an unheated truck. Swimming creatures sent overnight air through FedEx. Sure they might not be heated that will either but they don't cool down too much as they aren't sitting for that long. Quality, the other guy had twenty of the shrimp with multiple colors, but the colors were somewhat spotted. Swimming creatures are solid and bright colors Bottom line is pretty simple. If these guys don't multiply as much as they say they do, I'll be buying more from swimming creatures! ... show more

Thought people might want to know how the shrimp survival rate was after some time. It has been a month since my order and here is the real world survival. I had some extra come in my order so at first I was really excited. I did have a few losses in the first couple days so dropped down to 18. After a month, I now have 14 survivors out of the original 20+ which I consider pretty good survival. I'd have given them 5 stars if I had a little higher survival rate but give them 4 stars and do recommend them. I'd just be prepared for a few losses so buy accordingly. I put 16 in my large tank and 6 in my small tank. I now have 10 in my large tank and 4 in my small tank. Sounds like a lot but I am probably going to add a few more to each. My observations: The yellow ones seem the most active and swim all over. The blue ones are smaller than others and harder to see. The red ones stand out the most. All are fun to watch and they do work picking hair algae off the glass which is a plus. They seem to like the live plants in my aquarium the best. My shrimps have grown quickly and are now 3/4" long with blue ones a little less and yellow ones a little more. I would order again and am debating ordering some of the other color shrimps to add to my 2 tanks. ... show more

I was very skeptical about purchasing shrimp online, but I found a seller that claimed to be able to deliver within a few days. Hesitantly I ordered my shrimp. After clearing my schedule yesterday for the estimated arrival of my shrimp I get a notification that it's delayed in transit. Not a big deal I checked with shipping and everything and it turns out that FedEx didn't get the box through their system until Wednesday thus it's still two-day shipping. But when I got my shrimp I opened the package and I find 6 DOA. No biggie, as I saved tons of money ordering online. Well while trying to drip accumulate my shrimp that started to turn belly up. Slowly one by one they all began to die. I've dripped accumulated shrimp plenty of times but this time it was different. I feared my water perimeters where off so I checked my quarantine tank and the perimeters are as flows, NO3 0, NO2 0, Ph 7.2 , TDS 240, GH 100mg/L , Alkalinity 80 Mg/L and Carbonates 75mg/L. Pretty quick shipping. Not a bad price. Most are male, and not a big selection of colors. Unfortunately this is the second order from them, the first arrived DOA, this one arrived with 5 DOA and the rest died within 24hr. I don't think I'll be trying this company again as not one shrimp has lived long enough for me to even get them in a tank. If you do order from them I hope you have better luck with them then I did. ... show more
