My wife and I recently made this purchase for a few reasons. . . My brother-in-law lives in the neighborhood and we wanted a way to get 5-10 miles down the road without jumping in the car or getting sweaty on the road bike. We also wanted something that my wife could ride for longer distances while I was on the road bike. This was absolutely perfect. Pretty much ready to go right out of the box. It took about ten minutes to put together and I think it would take about five if I had to do it again. The twist grip throttle operates seamlessly with the pedal assist and literally has zero learning curve associated with it. We were very shocked with the power. Being our first e-bike I didn't really know what to expect. It doesn't feel dangerously fast, which is nice for her, but also doesn't feel like it's struggling to get up a hill. I can strap my wetsuit on the back and get to the lake for a swim without being tired upon arrival. If you live in any type of bikeable community or have a <20mile commute I would say this thing is the ticket. ... show more

Cheap quality. Got this for my son for Christmas. In a month of riding, we have replaced the tubes front and back 6 times total. Been to 2 different bike shops to get help on it. My son's friend got a different brand e bike on Christmas also. Both kids have been riding in the exact same terrain together, doing the same rides together. His friend has had zero issues with his. Loved the bike. Definitely a huge bang for your buck. Super easy to install. Gets up to speed pretty quick and battery lasts a long time especially with pedal assist. Also doubles as a normal bike if I'm looking to bike for excersize. 10/10 recommend!

The eBike by SWFT, is a lightweight very capable electric bike with many great pros and a few cons as well. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – The overall quality is solid and well-built for this level of cost, with a sturdy, durable feel that seems like it’ll hold up for a while, assuming the electronics survive. II. Performance - SWFT claims a range of up to 25 miles per charge, but in real-world conditions, I found it to be closer to 20 miles when using pedal assist consistently. Riding on electric only drains the battery much faster, but it depending on terrain and rider weight. The recharge time is about 5-6 hours, which is decent but not the fastest. The 500W motor delivers smooth acceleration, and the bike reaches its top speed of 20 mph with ease. It nice to have an included digital readout of the speed, battery and more on the handlebars. The power was a little disappointing on electric only mode if you encounter a hill. For me at 175 pounds it can’t even make it up mildly steep hills without me pedaling to help. It’s great for city commuting and casual rides on flatter ground or if you intend on pedaling most of the time. The single-speed drivetrain means you can’t shift gears, which limits versatility on steep inclines. However, if you're looking for extreme power or off-road capabilities, this may not be the best choice. Overall, this has been a great bike to have for certain situations such as flatter roads and especially if I’m planning on peddling and just want some electric assistance. The quality, convenience and performance make it a great choice if you looking to use it in those type of scenarios. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Assembly was surprisingly easy, the most time consuming part was adjusting the brake pads so they wouldn't rub the rotors the whole time, but once that was done and we first aired up the tires the tube in the back blew up with just 30 lbs of pressure in it. I'm guessing we just got a bad one because the front held up just fine. The next day I went and bought a replacement tube and replaced it (which took about 20 minutes) and all has been well since. I ended up not using this because I didn't need it really, but I did hand it off to an older lady who had recently had her ebike stolen. She really liked it. It was a lot like the one she had before in functionality. It is very easy to use and sufficiently powerful for many people, though I don't recommend being overweight for these things. I can't comment on the real world battery life, unfortunately. Assembly was super easy. It's a little heavy, but not that bad for an ebike. They are all substantially heavier than traditional bikes. I know she's been using it for awhile and never sent me any comments about having trouble with it. ... show more
