It is a nice scraper and is actually good for both Alge in glass aquariums and/or removing Registration and/or inspection stickers in the car which is actually what I purchased it for. The price of the blades that this use is very inexpensive. The only downside is that there is not a place that stores extra blades but at a price of about $11 you cannot complain. It is great for getting the algae off and I use it frequently!! It’s perfect for its use just be careful when assembling because the blades are double sided and you could easily slice your finger open! I have saltwater reef tanks. The algea is like cement! This blade does the trick and does not scratch glass or acrylic!

This is WELL worth the purchase. Comes with extra blades. Easily scrapes glass NOT acrylic. Very long, Stir sand, move stuff, etc. It's very sturdy, I'm not sure of the grade of the stainless but I wipe it with fresh water and then dry it after use and I don't see any rust spots. I also fix a thin scrup pad with a rubber band and wipe the glass, it's very low profile to maneuver in small areas. ... show more
