I have been looking for suitable produce storage for the last ten years. I was looking for something easy to use that prolonged the life of my produce. Most of the time they didn't work and the produce spoiled (sometimes faster), or they did work but were such a hassle to use and remember to get out that it wasn't worth the hassle. Now here comes this genius little product, and I can tell you this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for all of this time. When you have produce you want to rinse it and you'll need some sort of colander, so you immediately think of grabbing this. The colander comes in its own container, so once your produce is rinsed you can just put the full colander in the container and pop on the lid and boom you're done. I was skeptical of keeping a lid on produce, but somehow this works! I used these with berries, grapes, and carrot sticks. They all came out great and lasted way longer than if I had just thrown them into the produce drawer in the fridge. The real beauty of these containers is that you rinse and prepare the produce BEFORE you store it. This is a huge plus, because then your food is prepped and ready to go. I know there's lots of talk about not washing you produce until you are ready to use it, but who wants to wash two strawberries at a time? This product lets you wash all the strawberries and have them ready to go, so you just pop off the lid and start eating. It's so much easier to treat your produce as a snack with these containers, and you end up eating more produce. These containers are a huge game-changer for me and how I run my kitchen. I highly recommend!!

These Fresh Food Storage Containers, Large Capacity Produce Saver Box with Drain Baskets & Lid for Vegetable and Fruit are super convenient for washing and draining produce. When drained, just put the strainer basket back into the container, pop the lid on and put it in the refrigerator. Done! The produce seems to stay fresh, but I've only tried it for a couple of days so far. I'm generally happy with these. I just hope the lids loosen up a bit over time.

This set of plastic containers seems to be sturdy and decent quality. The lids each have 4 point snap closures and fit tightly. They are nearly clear (slightly opaque), dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe. The 3 sizes are 1700 ml, 3150 ml, and 800 ml. I like that there’s a removable inner basket that functions like a colander with excellent drainage, and it even has small feet to keep off the counter when draining. I think it would make sense if the plastic containers had an option for venting, otherwise you need to ensure that the produce is completely dry before you fully seal it in this otherwise watertight container.

I needed more containers that were both clear so I don't have to play 'what's in this container roulette' and sealable to keep my salad stuff fresh and to hopefully, let them last a bit longer. These containers are nifty, they came with a colander which helps to keep moisture away which keeps fresh fruits and veggies fresher longer. They are also clear, lightweight, and easy to clean. I am getting more of these to help tame leftovers.

This was my first set of food containers that comes with a colander that fits in it. It's really great, especially for steam in bag vegetables or canned vegetables. I use the colander on it's own and then when done I put it directly in the storage container with the food still in it. It also keeps fresh vegetables and fruits really well. The containers themselves are thick and I didn't have any issues with them warping in the dishwasher. The lids snap latches on which in my opinion is worlds better than the ones you just push closed. Also, I like the shape of these containers. I really don't like round containers because they take up too much space. However, these are rectangular in shape which is the best for maximizing space when in the refrigerator or in storage. The sizes are adequate for most things. Nothing to knock a star off but it would have been nice to have a larger, more varied set. I do wish I had more of these! They are incredibly useful and good quality. I definitely plan to get some more in the future.

It was smaller than expected, but it looks pretty strong. I already have another container set for a similar use and that was much larger in size but the part inside also has a rough edge finish and the lid is not tightly sealed. However, this products have a clear finish and feels like it doesn't leak well even though the size is not big. It would be very useful if there is a larger set.
