I was a bit skeptical on buying this due to some of the reviews but i went ahead and purchased it & in really glad I did. My 11yr old who is pretty small wore this for his moving on ceremony from 6th grade & this was the perfect gown for pictures. I made sure to buy the largest size & I’m so glad I made the purchase. Cap & Gown arrived expediently. Minimal wrinkles in gown were gone after hanging it up overnight. Cap was a snug fit; mortarboard was not too heavy for our toddler to wear; tassel & board stayed securely in place. Gown fit well and was a thicker material than I expected for the price. The graduation "certificate" is oval and tucked inside the cap. We didn't need it but noting for those looking for a proper certificate. Overall, a terrific set! ... show more

If you measure your child and follow the sizing guide, it fits perfect. My child has a "pandemic graduation" from kindergarten, and it was suggested to her cap and gown (ceremony was done online) to make it more enjoyable. My son loved it. It comes with a tassel, but the year piece on the tassel on mine was broke. We tried to put it back on but could not get it to stay on. It came with 2 years, 2021 and 2022, so I know it was designed to be taken off, but almost wish it came with instructions on how to keep it from falling off when kid moves around! I did not have time between product arriving and the ceremony to return it and it is such a small piece I'm not Eben sure you could have seen it in pictures so it wasn't worth the effort of returning anyway.... however if you want the tassel as a keepsake with the year on it, order ahead with plenty of time to return if you run into a similar problem!! ... show more

I expected this to just be really cheap, scratchy fabric. But I'm pleasantly surprised as it's actually pretty soft. I love it and can't wait to see my 5 year old graduate preschool in a couple months :)
