A cautionary tale here. One year ago, I purchased a Sweetnight mattress because my daughter has one and I was amazed at the comfort level. It was the exact one she has. Upon opening the mattress I noticed that it did not expand to the same degree as hers. I thought that it would take time, so after two days, I began sleeping on it thinking that it would eventually expand. A year later, I am regretting the purchase. Too late now, however 30 days still would not have given me a fair window to evaluate my purchase. I am elderly and have purchased a few mattresses over time, and this one provides a most uncomfortable rest. I should have returned it upon my initial concern. Meanwhile, my daughter's mattress, which is a year older than mine, is still comfortable and firm. Online mattress ordering may be convenient, however my next purchase will be local, in-store, so that I have a better chance of receiving what I'm looking for, in comfort and customer support. ... show more

This is my first purchase of a foam mattress in a box and I couldn't be more pleased. It inflated quickly and without any odor. It's extremely comfortable and like advertised as medium firm. I've only been sleeping on it for about a month so I can't speak to long term durability. I haven't slept on it on warm weather so I can't speak about how well the gel foam layer works to prevent overheating. So far that hasn't been an issue. What I can say is that I've gotten really good sleep and wake up without feeling any soreness, aches, or muscle tightness. Also my arms don't fall asleep either anymore. Pros: Soft, no odor, comfortable Cons: Didn't fully regain shape around the entire perimeter. After 48 hours I even tugged it up for some assistance but didn't help. After 72 hours was still only at about 90% all the way around the edges. Well I needed to sleep on it so I did. Nice and soft, comfortable to sleep on your side. I have back problems and steel in my right arm, femur and knee. No issues with pressure points. Edge of bed squishes EZ, more expensive mattress have a firm border around the edge so you don't roll off. Two (2) weeks of usage and mostly positive views of this king sized mattress. It absorbs most movements, not like those exaggerated commercials but definitely easy to not notice your partner moving. It said it's great for side sleepers, I'm a back sleeper and feel supported. Mrs is a side sleeper and doesn't have any complaints though she doesn't feel how it's best for side sleepers either. Overall, it is well liked and could do without the marketing hype. Be cautious if you enjoy sitting in bed to watch TV or work on laptop or really anything that requires sitting with the headboard behind you. This mattress won't hold you up like a regular spring mattress. You'll sink a little and be in an awkward position. We're both in the 225lbs+ weight range and this mattress holds up well, though we think 12inch might do even better. The instructions didn't say to do it but we waited 48hrs anyway to replace the old mattress after letting this new one "breathe" a little. Again, marketing hype, it doesn't FEEL any cooler than our last mattress. We got ours on clearance for $115 before it went back to normal price of $320, so our bank account, backs, sides, all like this mattress. ... show more

I was surprised to see the support and quality and thickness of this mattress. Functionally it has been great, very comfortable and the price was great. I expected a cheap mattress but I would absolutely buy this again It unfolded quickly and inflated in a couple of hours, great fit.

This is a great mattress! I was hoping to replace my old one, and this is a great replacement. I prefer softer mattresses over firm ones, so this is perfect for me since it is on the softer side. It is very comfortable! It was also easy to set up, and it was fun to see it inflate. I feel like my sleep has gotten better ever since I started using this new mattress, so I am glad that I bought it. I enjoy sleeping on this new one compared to my old one, and if I need another mattress in the future, I will definitely be interested in getting another one of these. Overall, I recommend this mattress if you enjoy sleeping on softer mattresses like me! ... show more

This is a nice mattress for the price. It is vacuum sealed in a box which makes it easy to move into your home. It inflated quickly and appears to have achieved the stated depth of 12 inches. It is a little less plush than I thought it would be, but it’s still very comfortable.
