I was careful to open and position the mattress on the frame & it was interesting to observe it expand over 24 hours. I adjusted the cover several times as it appeared to be slow to expand at the corners. Since the bed was to be slept on - in the guest room a few days after receiving it, I waited as long as possible before covering with linens. I added a mattress pad, sheets & comforter. It was comfortable - just to test it as a brief lie-down. I haven’t checked the corners since then & it seems it wouldn’t matter if they weren’t 90° at each point because a comfortable bed isn’t perfectly square and those corners aren’t seen or felt. ... show more

I’m ready to trash this mattress after only year and a half because it’s completely deformed. Was it cheap? Absolutely! And that is clear as a day now. Do not buy! If you are going to use it every day, you will be throwing your money away.

I was looking for a flippable mattress for my guest room, so I could easily adjust the firmness depending on my guests' preferences. I also wanted a mattress that was packaged well and wouldn't be too difficult to set up. This mattress exceeded my expectations on all counts! It is very comfortable, and both sides provide excellent support. The firm side is perfect for people who like to sleep on their backs or stomachs, while the soft side is ideal for side sleepers. My guests have all commented on how well they slept on this mattress. The packaging was also very impressive. The mattress arrived in a box that was easy to open and maneuver. The mattress was rolled up and vacuum-sealed, so it was very lightweight and easy to carry into my guest room. It expanded to its full size within a few minutes of opening the box. ***Update almost 4 months later*** Well, it’s true that, at first it felt so good but now, not so much. Thinking back, it likely felt so much better because I had my old sunken mattress as a comparator. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, I was away and hadn’t slept on it for about a month and when I came back, within two weeks of sleeping on it, I started having, trouble with pain in my hips and shoulders. I flipped the mattress to the firm side and that was much too hard. I Tried my 3 inch mattress topper and that didn’t work so I bought a 2 inch mattress topper and it was still too firm. I flipped it back to the soft side and tried the two different mattress, toppers again, to no avail. By this time, I had gone beyond the 100 day trial/warranty. But Amazon was kind enough to refund it anyway. I bought a mattress of a different brand and it arrived today so we will see how it goes. ***original post December 2023*** This mattress is like what I imagine sleeping on a cloud might feel like! It’s the perfect level of firm support to prevent awkward body positioning and to prevent pain on the pressure points (side sleeper). The top layer of softness is like a warm hug! It’s only been one night but if this is any indication, I’m going to have many years of good sleep with this mattress. The best part is it’s FLIPPABLE! Had my previous mattress been flippable, I could have gotten many more years out of it. Being able to flip this mattress should give me at least 20 years before I have to buy another! ... show more

    • Not to full shape and its been 72 hours

I was excited to get this 12 in mattress it looks really nice. I removed it from the packaging and it started to inflate but now we are at 72 hours and the corners are only at 8inches and the in the middle of the mattress is 10 inches. I am not really sure how this gets resolved, I have an email out to SweetNight but not sure anything will come of it since its already opened. I will update the product information once I hear back. Update: I have been in contact with Sweetnight and their customer service is outstanding they are still working with me on getting it resolved. The quality of the mattress is good and we are sleeping on the firm side because that filled out better. I still would recommend the mattress, the middle of the mattress expanded to 12in but our corners are still at 10in. But even though there was an issue; having a company reach out consistently is a refreshing change, thank you Sweetnight! ... show more
