usually i don't like to leave comments on the items i bought on Amazon, but this bed mattress is good enough to make me do this, it is kind of beyond my imagination. so i really want to share my feedback here for the item. hope it would help someone before they make their decision. my every day work falls more on the labor, so i feel very tired after returning home. as time goes by, my waist and legs will feel sore. so what do i expect for the home? a hot shower and a comfortable mattress which could offer me a good rest. also as i work foe hotel purchasing, i had seen and tried so many hotels and brand designed one. so i take a lot of consideration into this purchase before i really buy it. i had one old mattress which is hypoallergenic memory foam with the traditional support of an innerspring mattress. it works fine at the very beginning, but after 2-3 months use, it become uneven!it could not support my weight and aggravate my back pain. and according to my experience, i would not choose the spring mattress because they make bid noise and need to be flipped every 3 months if i need the perfect condition of it all the time. so gel memory foam mattress is my NO.1 choice. due to the covid-19, i have to pick a mattress from Amazon, to be honest, i was afraid that the item i get will be another story from the picture i saw on the website. but why not? give a try as prime member, just a little pain for returning process. but guess what, the item came one day earlier in front of my house, and surprised me! the packaging was gorgeous, a big queen mattress was highly vacuumed packed in a big heavy box. one man could handle it without doubts. opened it on the same day, left it one the bed at lunch time, and it was ready at evening,cannot wait to try. it gives a totally different feeling compared with the spring one. it gives me a very soft feeling when pressed by hand, but it feels that it supports the body and does not make me feel back pain at all. it will make your weight spread out on the whole mattress. i used many gel memory foam mattress before, but this one still surprise me a lot! in addition, there was no noise when i was making the turn over on the bed. it will absorb all the noise and make me feel i was sleeping one the cloud top. the quality of sleeping had been improved since it came to my house. i sleep like a baby every night which charges me more power when i was sleeping. queen size is perfect for 2 people sleeping, and you will not get affected by the person who sleeps by you. it would not make any uneven point or surface due to the other person's weight. i will definitely buy another one for my gust room when my new bed frame arrives. if i really have to bring any cons to this item, you need a bed protector, it is easy to get stained, but a bed protector would save a big trouble. ... show more

So I needed a bed for my mom when she comes and visits instead of her sleeping on an air mattress. She had a lot of hip, back and knee issues that an mattress is sometimes too much for her. Once I let the bed out for 24 hrs to get to full size it was comfy. I slept on it before she came over to make sure it was something ok for her and I got the best sleep ever on this thing. Even she really liked how it felt and how it wasn’t painful for her to get in and out of it. Good mattress for a decent price ... show more

I have a very nice king 12" thick gel memory foam mattress as my main mattress and I love it, it feels so nice and when I wake up I'm not stiff t all and have no pains. I bought this sweetnight for the guest bedroom. 3 guests so far said it was very nice and comfortable. I had to sleep on this mattress for 2 weeks while renovating my bedroom and I did not like it. It was way too stiff for me (185lbs) but seems the heavier you are the softer it feels. It may also be that I'm so used to my other mattress; the sweetnight stiffens my back and hips up (side sleeper). I also spend a lot of time in hotels (100 nights per year) and this mattress is a little stiffer than most hotel mattresses, which also make my muscles stiff. I work out a lot doing heavy squats and deadlifts, which obviously affects the stiffness of your muscles when sleeping on different levels of support. So depending on your weight and physicality you should be able to understand if you would enjoy this mattress or not. Think of the mattress as a variable rate spring, where the first 1" is very stiff at 185 pounds but as more weight is added the softer the mattress becomes. So not 185 PPI straight out, but at 185 pounds you're only going to get about an inch of compression. ... show more

It was time to change our mattress, and we'd discussed needing a new mattress for the last year or so. We've been shopping at a lot of mattress stores during the past year and trying quite a few different styles. And we keep coming back to the layered foam style like this one I am reviewing. We have learned a LOT about mattresses in our quest for perfection. Including how many shysters are out there hucking mattresses at a super high markup. We also learned that price is NOT an indicator of quality. I saw this mattress on Amazon, and my wife and I started doing research here in the feedback section but also on other sites. We narrowed it down to this Sweetnight Memory Gel Foam mattress. After ordering it took just two days and it was at our door. Pretty quick delivery I think it was shipped as prime, that's why it got here so fast. It came compacted in a box, so be sure to read and follow the instructions and even more importantly, video the opening! It may make it onto AFV. It was impressive to watch the whole expansion dealio when there's not enough room in the room you're opening it in. No, I won't post that very embarrassing video, not even for a $10,000 AFV prize. Just saying.... The mattress had a peculiar smell the first few hours but it dissipated within a couple of hours. I still haven't figured out why they want it to rest for 72 hours before you use it. But I followed the instructions because I am sure they know more about this than I do. My wife appreciates the gel part of the mattress, she is prone to "hot flashes" and our old mattress just acted like she was laying on a well-insulated blanket. Now she is happy. Happy wife, happy life... The company says they give a ten-year warranty, I've registered it on their website and will hold their feet to the fire if it pops a seam or something like that. All things considered, the price, the warranty, the cool gel, the comfort, it was a good decision to buy off the internet instead of one of the high priced mattress stores. And I have a video to show the grandkids, one day. :-) I added a video of a rectangular "something" with a sheet and crumpled blankets on it that my wife insisted that I put on this review. She says she wants other people to love it s much as she does. I love my beautiful wife, she is so cute. So watch and enjoy her cute little her video... :-) ... show more
