Wow, this memory foam mattress is the best I have ever used and it ships to Alaska, like super fast! Once we received it, we popped the box open and got a start on unwrapping it. The instructions said to leave the bed alone for 72 hours, but we just moved into a one bedroom cabin (520 sq.ft) and didn't have the room to let is rest for 72 hours. So we slept on in within a few hours of opening. I wouldn't recommend doing that in your own home, unless you live in a tiny place like ours and just can not wait. The mattress had no issues rising. It inflatted to the 12 inched specified and is just magical. I am a back sleeper and prefer to sleep without a pillow. I have back issues, hip issues and Plantar Fasciitis and have found firm surfaces to sleep on a better option for my pain. I sleep straight through the night, with no issues moving around. Once i get up, my hips and back are aligned and somehow my feet are not near as sore. Maybe because my back and hips are resting well allowing my feet to feel better. Not sure about the science behind that one, but it doesn't matter, because i feel incredible upon waking. I find myself not needing 9-10 hours of sleep either. 7-8 solid hours and in a great mood in the mornings, which saves my husband a headache. We have a 1 years old that tends to crawl into bed with us often and he sleep better than I do. We originally had the bed over two crappy twin beds and found the memory foam to be too soft. Once we moved it to the floor, magic happened. So if you find this bed to be too firm, I suggest putting it on top any other mattress (not box springs, you may feel the springs). ... show more

Dear SweetNight, I am in your debt. Having slept for a week on my brand new king-size SweetNight mattress I can tell you that this is the first solid sleep I’ve had in over a year. We had the old coil kind of mattress which eventually breaks down then we tried an air mattress which was like sleeping on the worst kind of water bed. But enough about what doesn’t work… The gel memory foam in this mattress at first feels very firm, but lay there for a couple minutes and you’ll feel your body being supported without pressure. I have not slept this soundly seriously in over a year. I wake up refreshed (and I’ve always thought was a load of crap when I see that phrase in a mattress ad) but I can tell you when I started doing tax returns this season I thought it was going to do me in, it was hard to focus, hard to retain all the new tax code, my brain and my body felt defeated before I even got to the office. But having slept on this new mattress, I am sharper, I have more mental and physical energy, I don’t wake up with a backache every morning, I know I’m going on and on, but I never expected this dramatic experience from a mattress. ... show more

I’m someone who likes to read through reviews prior to purchasing something, especially an item such as a bed. This product has many reviews, some good, some bad. So despite my better judgment, I decided I would take my chances and purchase this bed. Like many of the other reviews state, my bed also never fully expanded to size. My bed arrived on a Saturday, was laid on my box spring to expand as instructed. Per the instructions the bed will “inflate” within 24-72 hours and you shouldn’t sleep on it. (Be prepared to make another arrangements or you’ll be sleeping on your floor like my husband and I did for 3 days). After 72 hours came and went and the bed still wasn’t “inflated” to full size, I accepted my loss and figured, I too, got a dud mattress. So I hopped on and started down the rabbit hole trying to return the dang thing. Amazon tells me, “great you can return this, we’ll send a UPS driver to pick it up for you, you just have to box it yourself”. Being 5’2”, 125lb woman trying to re-box a partially inflated king size mattress just wasn’t going to happen. I also tried to contact the manufacturer, was unable to get someone on the phone or via chat and ended up having to email them. (Still awaiting a response over 24 hours later). Cut to, I manage to find a bigger box for the mattress, and try and put the mattress in said box. My UPS driver shows up for my package. Realizing it’s a mattress, he tells me they can’t take it, that Amazon does this all the time and they can’t accept them because it’s too large of a box to fit on their truck. (I didn’t shoot the messenger and picked up my mattress to bring it back inside my house). I then once again, contacted Amazon only for them to tell me that I will now need to return the item to UPS myself or since I started the return, I would have to wait another 30 days for them to be able to refund me my money. Upon asking for a supervisor, I was rudely told that the supervisor had “the same tools and resources and would tell me the same thing”. I was finally able to get someone on the phone who not only spoke clear English but was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about the return process for a mattress. She sincerely apologized and told me that my UPS driver was indeed correct and that the Amazon representatives should have advised me to dispose of the mattress and immediately refund me my money. Long story short, buyer beware, as you too may end up with a dud mattress and have a terrible time trying to return it. Go with a better well known company, spend a little more and save yourself a bad back from sleeping on the floor and a whole heck of a hassle. ... show more

    • Good mattress
We had the same matress for about 7 years and it started causing me and my husband back pain. (So much back pain I had to go to the doctor about my muscles hurting soooooo bad). After doing lots and lots of research I saw this mattress and decided it was time to just get it. I ordered it and it was expected to ship in about a week...... i was upset bc my back and body desperately needed a new mattress! To my surprise I ordered the mattress on a Wednesday and it arrived very early Saturday morning so we had plenty of time to allow the mattress to unfold. Saturday we slept on our new mattress and my back pain is gone! We have had this mattress almost a month now and I'm so glad with our choice. Me and husband are both plus size and got a king size. No funny smells or issues just a good night sleep.... Let me add that my first mattress was the same concept a few hundred dollars on a memory foam that comes in the box. I have never owned an expensive mattress. I have seen lots of people say its decent for the price.. I didnt have much to spend but i.cant imagine a mattress could get too much better... ... show more
