Ive had this bed for almost a year and its held up great, even though im upset its like 100 dollars cheaper now. This bed feels great on the back and it contorts to your body like a glove. Its firm but not too firm, just enough softness to sink a little hugging your body. Im 6'1 and about 250 lbs and its absolutely perfect for me. The only con id say is because im bigger this bed retains quite a bit of heat so during the summer months use less blankets because you might wake up sweating like i did occasionally, for smaller individuals this might be a big plus though. Im lucky because I live in the PNW so I only got to worry about that for like 2-3 months out of the year. My gf, though, did have one con and it didnt effect me like it did her but shes really sensitive to dust and other allergens. This mattress seems to pick up dust and retain it in its blue fabric underneath causing her to sneeze and have bad allergies, it only happened when she slept on this bed, the room is clean and I even have an air purifier, but still, whenever she was on the bed it seemed to effect her so if you are really sensitive to that kind of thing (and if the bed is in a room with longer carpet like ours was where allergens are prevalent) i'd look elsewhere. Honestly, I am surprised at the quality. I've never ordered a mattress in a box before and we have all heard the horror stories on poor quality etc... But this is not one of those mattresses. Thank goodness. I got this for my son. He is 6' tall and about 140-145 lbs. It fits him like a glove. He sinks in a bit more than a traditional box spring. Yet has plenty of firmness. I was afraid it would be too soft but its really not. When you sit on the side it doesn't sink down drastically from lack of side support. It fits his bed frame perfectly. No noise from any springs. It doesn't trap body heat. It fully expanded from its plastic wrapper in about 48 hours but we still gave it 72 hours to be safe. It looks exactly like the picture too. It is heavy but he moved it into his room, opened it and set it up himself. So while heavy it's manageable. He mentioned he could sleep comfortably on his stomach again. Which he likes and hasn't been able to do in his previous mattress. But to be clear he sleeps on his side mostly and he says it's very comfortable that way as well. All in all, he is thrilled with it. Which means so am I. I may get one for myself. We are similar builds and it really is that comfy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. ... show more

This mattress has exceeded my expectations so far.I bought it for my teenage son.He is so very happy with it.Hes sleeping better and longer.Ive sat on it and it is the perfect softness and firmness.I was a bit skeptical when I got it because I’ve never bought a mattress or anything of the sort online without trying it. And they say you can return things, but this would be an item that is very hard to return. It’s very heavy when it comes in, the box asked to be expected and they say it takes three days for it to completely inflate so to speak,but it begins feeling great as soon as you open it.But be very!! Careful they have several caution signs on it and my sons father took his knife to get it out the plastic and when it opened it threw me across the room,all our fault he was disregarding the directions.You won’t believe the quality of this mattress for the money.It is so nice the 1st night when I made up the bed my son wanted to sleep on the mattress bare without the fitted sheet☺️So I let him,but he likes to eat in bed and be getting crumbs all over the place so i insisted the next day to add that to his bed.He was surprised it could get anymore comfortable.I can’t believe how much of a difference it has made.There was nothing wrong with his other mattress outside of whenever he would sit on my bed he would say how comfortable my bed is.Hes autistic and I sat on his bed and said he must like a soft firm and not real firm.This is it!5 stars🤗 ... show more

I slept on a 6 inch 100% latex mattress for the last 16 years. It was at its end of life and the latex was tearing and breaking down. In addition, I am mostly a side and stomach sleeper, and I'm in my 60s now. Despite being very athletic I had started getting numbness and weakness on my whole right side. Time for an upgrade... I got the Starry Night 12 inch mattress on Prime Deal Days. Mine is made in Korea- which is a good thing- newer versions may be made in China? This mattress is soft enough for me to sleep on my side without any complications. Sleeping on my side I do not get any numbness, and the mattress is firm enough for me to sleep on my stomach in complete comfort without sinking in too deep. It has been fine when I do sleep on my back also without any back pain, and the support level feels just right for that too. Lying on my back with the bed raised or flat watching movies on the big screen has been super comfortable for hours. The mattress does not get me hot. Finally, I do not feel the pocketed coil springs ever! I am 5'11" at 230Lbs. There are only a few reviews of this mattress version that is made in South Korea on YouTube. Those reviews are great. Lastly, some great news is that this mattress contains no fiberglass. It did not outgas, and I was able to sleep on it 8 hours after unboxing- it plumped up completely within 1 hour!
