So far happy with this bed frame. It was very easy to assemble. The wood panels seem to be strong. Bed frame holds my new twin size mattress which is very heavy I think it more than 50lbs because it has heavy springs inside. I'm 168lb and my small dog 20lbs sleeps with me so that's a lot of weight. Hope I have this frame for a long time. Price was a little high. Most items are costing alot these days. The mattress just sits on top of bed frame I guess that's how it supposed to be. The mattress doesn't have any level to sit inside frame. Update on mattress when I sit on mattress I hear a creaking sound. I am not heavy. I went and purchased a two hole bracket to put on the outer side of frame in the middle where I installed a little wooden dowel. This way I know frame is secure and won't collapse in the middle. I'm sure the middle wood will begin cracking if I don't support it now. There is a metal foot in that spot also but I think it would have been a wiser thing to put brackets on both sides made of metal not a small wood dowel. ... show more

I transferred my kids from a toddler bed to another twin bed that cost hundreds of dollars, I said forget it and decided to go with these. They are super easy to mantle together. Very lightweight. And my kids loved jumping on the bed and you don’t have to worry about any base boards breaking because these are all made of steel. Plus I can lay in the bed with them if I need too.     • Seems a bit flimsy, but surprisingly holds up well.

Firstly, the frame is extremely easy to put together, and doesn't need any additional tools. It holds a surprising amount of weight for regular use (spread out, about 400 pounds works just fine for it.) I wouldn't jump up and down on it like a little kid (a tragedy, I know,) but it holds a surprising amount of weight for how light it is. I have mine up against one side of the wall and it doesn't sway that much, but I can see if you have it in the middle of a wall with just the head side of the frame against it, it might sway quite a bit and be less stable. It has a good amount of height for how thin it is, and I like how you don't need a box spring with it. It does creak at times, but it's not constantly making noise. I would reckon it's less noisy than most other thin bed frames. And some people have mentioned that they are afraid that accidentally kicking a leg post might cause it to fold down, but i've accidentally bumped the middle ones and the lower end posts a few times, and it stayed put very well. The only gripe with construction that I have is that many of the smaller slabs aren't a perfect fit and there is a slight gap of a few millimeters on the brackets for most of them. You can center them to have an even amount of gap between each side, and so far every single one has held up fairly well. I haven't noticed a problem with it, but a few of the brackets that hold the smaller slabs in place (the brackets are connected to both sides of the frame) came at a slight downward angle out of the box, and even though I was afraid it would get worse, the brackets actually haven't moved from use. I'm assuming that getting a hammer and knocking them back in better orientation (flat and in line with bed frame) would be easy, but i'm afraid to do so in case they become too malleable and potentially make it worse, or even break off. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this bed frame is. Assembly took me about 1.5–2 hours by myself, and once it was put together, it felt very solid with no wobbling. What really stands out is the support system. The frame has a metal center structure underneath the wooden exterior, including multiple center supports and legs that help distribute weight across the bed. It feels much stronger than other budget-friendly metal bed frames I’ve purchased in the past. My son weighs around 220 lbs, and I have no concerns about this frame supporting him. The combination of the wooden outer frame, center metal support beam, and multiple support legs makes it feel very secure and well-built. The finished bed also looks great and feels much more expensive than it is. I would definitely recommend it and plan to buy another one when it’s back in stock. ... show more

It's sturdy Was pretty easy to put together I did have a bit of an issue with the slats coming lose not sure if I did something wrong or not But since I re-did them I haven't had anymore issues.
