This is exactly what I was looking for a bed. Now the instructions where a little hard but I am a female and doing it by myself. This is a two-person job for sure to prevent injury or extreme time of putting it together. But one person can do it, but it will take some time. The bed frame is great in sturdiness; two grown adults can not only easily sleep on it but can lay without feeling like they have no room to sleep. The mattress does slide but I think if you get a higher quality mattress then I did and make sure it has slide resistant on the bottom, I think the mattress won't slide but for myself or a new couple that is just starting off with little money, it is perfect as a beginner bed. ... show more

The bed came in fast and was easy to put together just follow the directions 1 by 1. It look very nice. My only complaint is the middle beam is not as sturdy as it should be.
