This nice machine works well but is pretty loud. It makes a noise almost like a cricket at times and is quite annoying. Considering returning it. The previous brand that I had that died after a couple of years was silent except for when it pushed out the ice into the tray.

I did not know I needed this. I am not a big fan of ice but having ice readily accessible is a game changer. This machine makes ice every 6-8 minutes and lets you know when it is full and or needs more water. It can be a little bit noisy at first, but you get used to it once you realize it's just the ice dropping. It turns on and off easily, with a push of a button and even has a self-cleaning feature.
