I have been using this for about a week now and honestly for $50 its absolutely WORTH IT!! it makes ice so quick and is so convenient!. I was on a budget so i didn't expect much but this blew my expectations away! every time you need to refill just get some bottles of water and fill it up to the max fill line and that's it. for the water capacity It takes a quarter gallon to be full. I feel safe consuming the ice because its clean! Would definitely get another if i ever need. It was a little heavy taking it out the box and setting it up but that doesn't matter for me because its just sitting in one spot, also for the size its compact like a mini cooler. It works so well and if i ever need cleaning done it also has a self cleaning option which is neat. Also if you're thinking that its going to need constant refills then think again, i have a family of 4 and we use it 3 times a day and we had to refill it after 3 full days of use. it runs 24/7 and whenever the wife wants me to sleep on the couch i wouldn't have a problem with it because its not loud at all!

I’ve had time to experiment with this thing and it works really well. First off when it’s delivered to your house please let it sit upright for 24 hours before you plug it in cause it does use refrigerant so it’s gotta settle, and who knows what it’s been through during the delivery process. And I’m pretty sure it does not have a filter so for best results we like to use grocery store bought gallon of purified water but tap water works good to, but keep it chilled to keep from having wet ice. But I’ve also used room temperature water and it’s ok but not as good lol! I’m no professional on this unit yet, I’m just trying to help the next buyer, but we love it!

So far I'm satisfied with the ice maker overall. It makes ice quickly, which is the only reason I wanted it. I do have one problem with it, the ice comes out of the basket dripping water so when you put it into a tray in the freezer it all clumps together making it nearly impossible to break apart. If you use it straight from the machine it's fine but if you're trying to fill a reserve, it is not the greatest.

This little baby her was a total but pleasent surprise, I thought how can anything this small could make the amount of ice that the wife myself and 15 grand children and 2 great grandkids go threw on ever so many times and not run out of ice, grant you the cubes are smaller than the average ice cube but just like it says in 24 hours and a few 20oz glasses of water yeilds almost 4lbs of ice we couldn't be happier and we definitely plan on buying a second one for our cabin.

It broke after one cycle. I tried to give it a second chance and it continued to shut down. I returned it after three days of trying to get it to work Cost and size. If it doesn't work, it doesn't matter.

This little ice maker is convenient for home use and makes a lot of ice. The ice has hole in each one and can melt quickly. It has a removable basket and scoop that makes taking out the ice with ease to store in freezer. Many batches can be made to make a good supply of ice. Over all this is a great purchase and I highly recommend for home use.

We love our ice maker! So far we have had no issues. We use filtered water from our Brita pitcher and the ice comes out tasting great! We power it off every night and turn it on each morning. It produces quite a lot of ice for us throughout the day. You can also adjust the size of the cubes to your preferences, small or large. We go with the large and the machine makes them into a bullet shape. I don’t find the noise level to be distracting, though you can definitely tell when it has just produced a new batch because you can hear the newly made ice being pushed into the basket. I find this product to be a great value for the money for those who are on the fence. It is self-cleaning so I have been pouring a vinegar/water mixture once every 2 weeks into the machine to ensure there is no mold or mildew build up and so far it has worked like a charm. I would recommend this product especially for those who use ice frequently throughout the day or just like to have an ice cold drink, I’ve noticed I’ve been drinking more water because of this machine!

I've only had this appliance for one week. I fill 2 one gallon freezer bags a day I make ice in the morning intending to stock up for social events I host periodically. I also continue freezing my ice trays for regular use. The problem is the grand kids won't use the regular ice anymore. The ice made in this ice maker is so good tasting and easy to crunch on. I love it. I only hope it can stand up under the pressure. BTW, I fill it with purified water.
