I picked up this 12-piece ceramic dinnerware set in the green gradient glaze and honestly it looks even better in person than in the photos. The color has a natural, earthy variation to it, with that creamy off-white rim and subtle brown edge trim that gives it a really polished, handcrafted appearance without looking overdone. It fits right in with a farmhouse or modern table setting. The set includes four dinner plates, four salad plates, and four soup bowls, so you have everything you need to set a complete table for four people right out of the box. The dinner plates are a good size at 10 inches, the salad plates at 8 inches work well for sides and appetizers, and the soup bowls have a nice deep design that holds a solid portion without soup sloshing over the edge. The ceramic itself feels substantial and well made. There is a noticeable weight to each piece that makes it feel durable rather than cheap. I ran them through the dishwasher and everything came out looking great with no dulling of the glaze. They are also oven safe and microwave safe, so reheating leftovers is easy without transferring food to other dishes. Stackability is another plus. The plates and bowls stack neatly without wobbling, which makes storage in a cabinet straightforward even if you have limited shelf space. If I had one minor thing to mention, the glaze pattern varies slightly piece to piece, which is actually intentional and part of the kiln-fired look. I chose the green dinnerware set, which includes 4 dinner plates, 4 salad or dessert, plates, and 4 bowls. Right out of the box I could see the quality of these dishes – the glaze on these are absolutely beautiful! The green has a pretty gradient but is bright and shiny, and the beige accent around the rim complements the design perfectly. The sizes of each piece are perfect for dining. The dinner plates are 10" round, salad plates 8" round, and the bowls are 5.5" round. The plates curve up slightly at the edge which is really nice, especially if you have a meal that's a little saucy or liquid-y. The lip prevents things from spilling over. The bowls are nice and deep and perfect for cereal, desserts, whatever you need a bowl for! I've used these a number of times and they wash well in the dishwasher. These are microwave safe, but I tested this out and found that if you put it in for too long, the dish will get hot so I wouldn't recommend regularly using these dishes to microwave food for an extended period. The description also indicates you can put these in the oven, but I would be hesitant to do that. These are sturdy and heavy, but not overly so. I'm always careful with my ceramic plates, but there are some styles I've had that have a tendency to chip. I'm hoping these don't have that tendency, but it will take more use to see how they hold up. Overall, this is a gorgeous set for everyday use or entertaining, and I highly recommend!

Being the caregiver for my 80-year-old mom, I have lost several pieces of my old dinnerware set due to breakage. I bought a lightweight, non-breakable set to serve her, and ordered myself this beautiful new Sweejar ceramic set. I have always loved the look of ceramic dinnerware, and these did not disappoint. The muted purplish gradient design is very pretty, and the gold accent on the rims gives the set a touch of class. This set is a service for four: Four dinner plates, four salad plates, and four bowls. The 10" dinner plates are the perfect size. They are substantial but not too heavy. The set arrived with no chips or cracks, and the glazing is beautifully done with no crackling. I love that they are microwave, oven, and dishwasher-safe. I was concerned that the gold rim would not work in the microwave, but it did not arc or spark. I immediately ran them through the dishwasher and then used them to heat up a meal in the microwave, and they did fine. I am very pleased with this beautiful, well-priced, quality set of dinnerware. If you love ceramic kitchenware, which can be very expensive, this is a great set to start with. It is obviously made with care, and it felt great to serve my family dinner on a matching set for a change!

These are a lovely set of dishes that would be a welcome addition to any kitchen. I've always loved the look of this type of ceramic glaze, it has an appearance of being handmade and in my opinion, it just lends such character to the object. These dishes feel substantial & not delicate at all. They aren't *quite* as heavy as some stoneware, but still have a very nice weight to them. The fact that they are dishwasher safe is a big plus! I ordered the green set of dinnerware and the color is just beautiful. I love the gradient effect, and the little specks and variances in the color as it flows across the dish, again it just gives me the feel of handmade pottery, that lovely "not-precise-not-machine-made" look! The green gradient glaze is only on the top of the dish. The underside of the plates and the underside of the bottom of the bowl are solid white glazed. But in a usual table setting, that is not noticable at all - you would only see it if you pick up the plate & look at it, so it's not a negative for me. But I wanted to mention it, in case it matters to you. These dishes are also microwave safe also

At time of request, the listing for Sweejar 12 Pieces Ceramic Dinnerware Sets for 4, Gradient Glaze Plates and Bowls Set had no images, so I was going by the description alone. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the high-fired ceramics I received sight unseen, and I feel like I hit the jackpot with the muted green color (now fairly represented by the listing photos). Nested in precisely shape-fit foam that cushions the entire branded box interior, tightly cling wrapped stacks arrive with additional liners between each layer. They’ve clearly got the shipping thing sorted for intact delivery, but it helps that this ain’t the imported chipware I feared it might be. My cupboards are already loaded with cups and saucers and serveware–the unused remainders of other full service sets–so this food service only group strikes me as ingenious since the kid moved out and I'm downsizing. At a cost per piece that’s phenomenal for the quality, the standard dinnerware form factor cleans up easily by hand or dishwasher and stacks predictably. I have zero complaints and would cheerfully extend, mix, or match with others from this series as needed in the future.

They're stunning absolutely stunning and clearly made with quality and attention to detail. Pros: • Beautiful, earthy aesthetic: The color is a rich green with a thick band of tan-cream at the rim. It looks elevated and earthy at the same time; perfect for a wabi-sabi, upscale cottagecore, cozy-but-classy aesthetic. • Sturdy and scratch-resistant: The pieces have a solid weight and feel durable without losing their elegance. The glossy glaze is resistant to cutlery scratches and marking, unlike dinnerware with more matte/satin glazes. • Perfect size: The bowls are deeper than I expected, which makes them highly practical for soup, ramen, cereal, or ice cream. TL;DR Beautiful, modernized farmhouse-style dishes that give you the classic vintage look without the massive weight or heavy metal worries, all for less than $6 a piece. An easy 5 stars for me. For less than $6 per piece, you get a beautiful farmhouse style but with a sleek, modern twist that really enhances the table and any dish you serve. We’ve all seen those incredibly heavy plates with a similar look, but Sweejar successfully recreated that vintage era style with much less weight (and no heavy metal concerns!). The gradient glaze is beautifully executed, giving a nice uniqueness to every single piece. It feels casual yet refined. Note: Since French is my native language, I used an AI assistant to smooth out my grammar and make sure my thoughts didn't get totally lost in translation—but the 100% authentic appreciation for these gorgeous plates is entirely my own!

The color is my only surprise with this set. It’s marketed as red, but I would describe it as more of a deep maroon or even a rich purple-toned burgundy. Personally, I still think it’s gorgeous, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re expecting a bright or true red. Aside from that, this is a really beautiful dinnerware set. The reactive glaze gives each piece a unique, handcrafted look, and the rustic style is exactly what I was hoping for. The dishes feel sturdy and well made, with a nice weight to them without being overly heavy. Everything arrived looking great, and the pieces stack neatly for storage. If you enjoy rustic, farmhouse, or handcrafted-looking dishware, I think you’ll be very happy with this set. Just don’t expect a true fire-engine red—the color leans much more toward maroon or purple, and it’s absolutely beautiful in its own right.
