The front can be closed around me with some overlap in all areas in the XXL size. Item arrived super fast with prime shipping. The garment was wrinkled out of the package, but that was expected based on the material - not a problem. Also, there were a few little fringes that were longer, but a couple of snips and it is all good now. Definitely worth the price for a great fit and cute style. This kimono cover up was advertised as being made of rayon with a lace inset at the shoulders and pretty trim around the sleeves and the hem. What I received was a cheap looking garment made of thin shiny polyester with no lace inset and no trim at the hem. It looked like a $1.98 nightie from 1965.

I am 64 yrs old, 5'8, 190 lbs, bra size 42 DD, more legs than torso, weight mostly around torso. I normally wear XL(14/16) to XXL (18/20) depending on style, brand, tops or bottoms. Because of my bust I often need a size bigger on top than on bottom. I ordered this in XXL White and I love how it fits. Long enough to cover most of hips, big enough to wrap completely around my bust (although I'll wear it open). It arrived extremely wrinkled with fringe around bottom & sleeves fairly matted, but I good initial ironing, including fringe, solved that. I gave it only 4 stars because it will not wash or travel well due to 100% cotton shrinkage potential and its tendency to wrinkle badly if not kept hanging. I really wanted this to be awesome. I usually wear a 12/14 large/XL in tops. I ordered a large. It will wrap around me but it is short and short in the back, not long and flowy like some pics. It is very boxy. Maybe if you were super tiny and it would look good. It came very wrinkled but that could be taken care of with a steamer. I looked bigger than I am in it. 😩 ... show more

I just received my beige kimono today and was pleasantly surprised. It seems of good quality and is as expected. What's shown in the pictures for the beige is accurate. I usually wear size L/14 in most clothes, so I purchased a large in this kimono and it's actually a bit big. I haven't washed it yet, so time will tell if it shrinks (it's rayon) and lasts. I bought it mostly to use as a cover-up at the beach and pool, but may also use it as a cardigan. I have bought clothing from Amazon before that was made in China (didn't realize this when I ordered this kimono) that have not been good (very cheap, low quality, and sizing totally off/small), but this one was a nice surprise. ... show more

This is lovely. It has a pretty lace around the shoulder area and cute little tassels along the hem. I like the look of a kimono top over a tank. It’s perfect in the summer when I want an extra layer bc of air conditioning or sun protection. It looks great and it’s cool and pretty. The length is perfect and not too long. I’m 5 foot 3 and many kimonos I’ve ordered are way too long on me but this one is just right. Ofc it can also be used as a beach cover up too. I saw some reviews that mentioned how wrinkled it was when it arrived, and how wrinkled it can get. First I’d like to say that it’s 100% rayon, and rayon is like that. I found that a quick steam gets it wrinkle- free in no time. That said, I find that it doesn’t look “messy” if I throw I on without steaming it. I’ve purchased kimono tops similar to this from American Eagle that were more than twice as expensive and not as nice. Highly recommend this! ... show more

The product we received does not look like the photo at all. The fringe is completely different than what is shown in the photo. It arrived very wrinkled and just looks terrible. The fringe is all clumped up into wrinkled balls and it is missing the detail above the fringe as shown in the picture. I'm convinced that it is not the same product shown in photos. It is made out of a very thin cheap looking material. This was definitely not worth the money we paid for it. I will be returning it. ... show more
