  • Love this length
Size: Large Color: 0-black
I ordered a medium The color is absolutely beautiful, and what I was hoping for when looking at the model in the picture. I wear med or sometimes large. The material is soft, and you can tell it is made of high-quality material. I get compliments all the time. I am going to go and buy every color. So many ways to wear it. Dress up for office attire, or dress down with nice necklace. This is a nice find on Amazon ... show more

  • Beautiful and Fun
Definitely take some measurements if you ate unsure. If I hadn't lost weight from being ill then it would had been perfect but I have a plan to do work on it with my sewing machine. The dress is beautiful and feels great, it is flowing and compliments my complexion.

  • Beautiful Skirt, but...
Are you a toothpick? Then this skirt might be a good candidate for your wardrobe. Beautiful draping material. I loved the color. i ordered according to size just one up due to reviews. Nope. Still too tiny in the waist. And absolutely no give.

  • Great product
Size: XX-Large Color: 0-black
Super soft material and is very flowing when you walk. Love how it looks on me and the waistband is great not too tight for a bigger girl like me.

  • Garment smaller than size measurement
Size: Small Color: Burgundy
UPDATE I tried ordering a medium, and it fit perfectly. Actual waistband size measured at 31". It worked great --with the ties you can take in a fair amount of loose fabric in the waist, which was great for me. I wore it at my natural waist. The fabric on the medium had just a little stretch, which was NOT true of the small. Overall, I think there are just significant quality control issues with this skirt. If you order it for something specific, give yourself enough time to return it and order a different size if necessary. My experience with the medium is 5 stars, and the small is 2 stars. Rounding up to 4 because the medium is a great skirt. ORIGINAL Sooo...per the many other reviews, this runs small. How small? Well, when I measured the waist on the size small skirt I received, it was 26 inches. The waist measurement in the size chart for the small is 29". I am not entirely sure who did math and decided that a 26 inch garment would fit someone with a 29 inch waist, but they should probably redo that math. Anyway, for reference, my natural waist is 27", mid-hip is 29.5", hip is 38". I am 5'7" with a short torso and 130lbs, ordered a size small initially. Now ordering a medium (close to two sizes up from my normal measurements) to see if it is any better size-wise. I do like the skirt. It is thin and light but not too sheer. Comes out of the package VERY wrinkled, but hoping to steam those out. I'll update this review if it actually fits. Other notable things: The waistband is straight--it doesn't really flare. So if you have a short torso like I do, you may need to size up even more. My hip bone is maybe 2 inches from my ribs when I stand up straight, and the waistband is closer to 3 inches. I would recommend measuring your natural waist and and mid-hip (around where low-rise jeans would fall). Size based on the larger measurement. ... show more

  • Poor quality and defected

  • Nice skirt, odd variations between them
I ordered solid brown in 2 sizes and brick red in 2 sizes. I ended up returning the brick red ones because it was just a little too bright orange-y in person for my tastes. I returned one of the browns too because of sizing. All the skirts are nice enough quality, but my one gripe is the zippers. It bugs me that the most the zippers have as "stoppers" is maybe a bit of clear glue. It isn't a good glob of it either — sometimes zippers can be stubborn, and with enough force on a stubborn zipper, I think you could zip right over it because it's pretty small. One of the brick red skirts actually had a little clip in back (held the skirt together even with the zipper down) and I wish that was on all of them for convenience. Kind of weird that only one of them had it — you'd think it'd be a constant either across colors or across sizes, but that wasn't the case. The skirts are very wrinkly when they arrive, but using a steamer worked fine for me. You could also probably hang-dry them after the washer and they'd be good too. Tying a nice bow isn't too hard either, I just looked up how to tie one for clothes and I leave it in place until I need to wash it. I'd like to buy more, but there's a huge price variation between the skirts and sizes. I think they're a great deal if you can get a version that is $20-30. I don't know if they're worth it past that. I'm waiting for the appropriate size for certain colors (black, mint, maybe the blues or pink) to drop to a more reasonable price before I consider buying more. Like I said, the skirts are nice but the zipper kind of concerns me for how they'll hold up and I don't feel good about dropping $42 on something that is $22 in a different color or size, especially not if the zippers are doomed to fall apart eventually. Update 10/1/22: My zipper is still functional although it still makes me a little wary. Don't wear this skirt if you have any stubble and aren't wearing some sort of slip or tights underneath. I think longer leg hair would be ok, but the material on the inside of the skirt catches and pulls VICIOUSLY at even the smallest amount of stubble. My legs end up looking super irritated (bright red splotches at every single follicle) at the end of the day. It makes it quite uncomfortable and also causes copious amounts of pilling inside the skirt (the latter isn't really a big deal since it isn't visible on the outside, but it's still a little annoying given the normal $40 price tag). This is frustrating because the length would be great for "lazy days" but I don't usually like to wear tights or a slip underneath, especially on hot days (the skirt is comfortably airy on its own but not with layers). De-pilling is simple with a fabric shaver but I haven't bothered since it's on the inside only. On the first wash or two (hang dry), it pilled a bit on the otuside, especially on the bow ribbons. I used my fabric shaver to remove the pilling and it hasn't really happened since. I wash this skirt pretty sparingly since it doesn't get that dirty between wears — only when there's visible grime, or after maybe 4-5 wears even if it doesn't look dirty or smell. ... show more
