I thought I had posted a review but can't see it, sorry if a duplicate. LONG but may be helpful... We got this for our garage and gazebo. It having wheels was one of the big reasons we decided to try this one out. The price was VERY reasonable for what you get. It's SOOO simple to set up... that was why we didn't understand why it wasn't working. The fan would rotate but if you turned on the cooling system it wouldn't pull the water up the tube to distribute down the pad. I reached out telling them what was going on (mind you we got this at the beginning of April but didn't have a use for it until recently) I know always open the package and make sure it works when you receive it lol. Anyway after contacting them we immediately found a little brown/gray disk like thing behind the pump. I removed the pump and put the disk in and it worked splendidly!! Better than expected. During this time we received a response asking for exactly what was going on to see if they could troubleshoot and if it was the pump they would send a new one if not they would completely replace as well as give me a $30 credit. I let them know what happened and that it was working great and it hasn't stopped once. Oh it's also pretty quite and the fan power is awesome to use both by itself and with the cooling option Overall we are happy as can be.

Way better than expected! We live in South Carolina and had serious doubts about this working. Here's the way we have set this up. Our master bedroom is 600 s.f. roughly. We set our dehumidifier to comfort level, which keeps the room between 30 and 50 percent and then add square two inch ice blocks to the top tray about an hour before bed and then more when we go to bed. The unit holds over five gallons of water so fill it about 80 to 90 percent. What a difference! We are able to put our central air on 75 rather than 67 degrees and the blower on f1 is fine. Note that it all works better with the bedroom door closed.

I really like this machine. I was skeptical at first but I wanted something that I didn’t have to open a window. I use it upstairs where it tends to be hotter. And it cools down my whole master bedroom on low. The functionality is very simple and straightforward. The size is perfect is on wheels so it’s easy to move around. Me being a short woman that is a definite plus. The quality is good and it also comes with a remote control and the ice blocks needed. I’ve recommended this machine to several people. I have to say this was a good buy from Amazon.

I got this for my room. I use it it blows but doesn't keep the room cool. It actually makes it very hot and humid. You have to stand right in front of the fan for it to stay cool. I use ice and ice packs it still doesn't cool down my room and my room isnt very big. I got it May 22nd and now the water isn't even working it just sits in the tank it's june 25.

Our living room gets very hot during summer due to our high ceilings . We ordered this hoping it would help and it does amazing . The air flow is great . The swing function for the air is great . it is very durable and easy to move since it is on wheels . I would highly recommend

A friend had bought a different brand of evaporative air cooler and it cooled 500 sq ft. I needed to cool 124 sq ft but this air cooler doesn't cool the room. I think the difference is that hers has pads on 3 sides and this one has pads only on one side, on the back of the unit. As well, the water poured into the top (with it unplugged as the instructions tell you to do) did not drain down into the unit. I could only pour in about 2 cups of water because that's all it would hold without spilling over into the pads on the back. (The directions tell you not to overfill it when pouring water in.) Then I had to plug it in and turn it on "Cool" to get the water to drain down. Sometimes I had to do this twice before the water would drain down. Then 2 more cups of water poured into it and sometimes it would drain down but other times, I had to repeat what I had done when the first 2 cups of water did not drain down. It was tedious and irritating. So I wanted to return it. I was surprised that I had to pay for the return postage especially considering it does not work properly. Doesn't seem like fair business practices to me! I checked the postage through U.S.P.S., UPS, and FedEx and the least expensive was $66.36 at UPS. That's about half of what I paid for it. I did find a note on the return page that read that I should contact the company if postage is over $30, for an alternate way to ship it. I don't want to go through all that trouble. So I'm keeping it. I may use it for the bathroom, which gets very hot when the weather outside is hot. In good conscience, I can't sell it through CraigsList since it doesn't work correctly. If it doesn't work for my bathroom, it's going to a thrift store. Sometimes you just have to take the loss.
