I thought I had posted a review but can't see it, sorry if a duplicate. LONG but may be helpful... We got this for our garage and gazebo. It having wheels was one of the big reasons we decided to try this one out. The price was VERY reasonable for what you get. It's SOOO simple to set up... that was why we didn't understand why it wasn't working. The fan would rotate but if you turned on the cooling system it wouldn't pull the water up the tube to distribute down the pad. I reached out telling them what was going on (mind you we got this at the beginning of April but didn't have a use for it until recently) I know always open the package and make sure it works when you receive it lol. Anyway after contacting them we immediately found a little brown/gray disk like thing behind the pump. I removed the pump and put the disk in and it worked splendidly!! Better than expected. During this time we received a response asking for exactly what was going on to see if they could troubleshoot and if it was the pump they would send a new one if not they would completely replace as well as give me a $30 credit. I let them know what happened and that it was working great and it hasn't stopped once. Oh it's also pretty quite and the fan power is awesome to use both by itself and with the cooling option Overall we are happy as can be.

Do not buy. Purchased for use in my home gym. Used one day and didn't feel like it was doing anything so the next day I turned it on, had the ice packs in and got my thermometer out to see how well it works. Let it run while I took care of other chores so it could cool the space down before I used it, came back 2-2 1/5 hours later and the space was the exact same temperature. Standing 6 inches in front of the unit you can feel air moving but it is definitely not cold or even slightly chilly. Requested a return which was approved but I am responsible for shipping cost which I am learning is going to be between $66 and $112 depending on what carrier I use. The unit cost $150. That is ridiculous. So even if I return the unit, I'm still out a considerable amount of money for something that didn't work in the first place. Definitely not a good purchase. Avoid at all costs. Seller did offer to refund me $50 if I keep the unit which I declined before knowing what shipping costs would be for a 13lb item. Even if I took the $50 back, why would I want to keep something that doesn't work? It would either just take up space or end up in the garbage and I'd still be out $100. I'm really frustrated with this purchase and situation all around. Do yourself a favor and do not buy. -Update- Seller provided a return label and offered a better refund if I keep the unit but I will be returning due to reasons mentioned above. Seller was great, but product not so much.

It worked great for two weeks! Now it wont suck the water up into the top panel. If you cant get the water onto the back panel it’s just a $140 fan. Bummer! Updated! I was able to fix the pump motor myself. Now it’s working fine. Good value for the money!

So far this unit is amazing! I work from home and my office is the hottest room in the house and can be cold in the mornings and way too hot in the afternoon. The ceiling fan works OK but not great. I bought this unit since it is portable and have it next to my desk. I’ve turned it on when it gets hot and it really cools the room down nicely. I haven’t used the ice packs with it and I’ve only used it on low. I need to pull it into my bedroom at night to try it there. I will be trying it outdoors soon and using the ice packs and have a high hopes for it as I’ve only used it on the low Temp and speed so far I have been in very impressed and wish I had bought one sooner

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Not worth the money. All it did was create more humidity in top room of my tri-level home. It cost over $70 to return so I would avoid at all costs. Update 6/27/25. Company reached out and offered to refund cthe ost to ship back. So even though the product did not work for me the customer service was top notch.

A friend had bought a different brand of evaporative air cooler and it cooled 500 sq ft. I needed to cool 124 sq ft but this air cooler doesn't cool the room. I think the difference is that hers has pads on 3 sides and this one has pads only on one side, on the back of the unit. As well, the water poured into the top (with it unplugged as the instructions tell you to do) did not drain down into the unit. I could only pour in about 2 cups of water because that's all it would hold without spilling over into the pads on the back. (The directions tell you not to overfill it when pouring water in.) Then I had to plug it in and turn it on "Cool" to get the water to drain down. Sometimes I had to do this twice before the water would drain down. Then 2 more cups of water poured into it and sometimes it would drain down but other times, I had to repeat what I had done when the first 2 cups of water did not drain down. It was tedious and irritating. So I wanted to return it. I was surprised that I had to pay for the return postage especially considering it does not work properly. Doesn't seem like fair business practices to me! I checked the postage through U.S.P.S., UPS, and FedEx and the least expensive was $66.36 at UPS. That's about half of what I paid for it. I did find a note on the return page that read that I should contact the company if postage is over $30, for an alternate way to ship it. I don't want to go through all that trouble. So I'm keeping it. I may use it for the bathroom, which gets very hot when the weather outside is hot. In good conscience, I can't sell it through CraigsList since it doesn't work correctly. If it doesn't work for my bathroom, it's going to a thrift store. Sometimes you just have to take the loss.
