from what I see this speaker should get mor then 1 star but the sound reproduction for this 17 inch speaker is very poor also I never purchased this speaker or any SVS speakers before but know these SVS subwoofers has poor sound reproduction due to using equalization yes equalization is bad for sound reproduction the equalization doesn’t increase the subwoofers ability to reproduce bass sound so this means the bass sound of this SVS subwoofer and any subwoofer that uses equalization is false bass sound and not legitimate bass sound ... show more

This thing is amazing. 100% worth the cost! Incredibly loud and precise. I honestly think explosions are louder with this than being in the actual explosion. Lol. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this subwoofer. And it takes a lot to impress me.

Guess I'm the first to review/shell out 3 grand for this unit. If you want things to fall off your shelves/make your entire coffee table to move/make shame of a klipsch rp1600, trip your 15 amp outlet breaker then get this badass subwoofer!

If you watch movies in ultra HD Blu-ray’s then only the PB 17 ultra will do. I have a large home theater system and space and even one is more than enough to bedazzle me for hours. I have two SB 3000’s on standby but there is no need for them and they’re in my studio and bedroom for now. This one PB 17 ultra in the far corner of my living room is more than enough. Believe the hype. This is a monster and coupled with the EQ SVS app you have total control. I have had many subs in my life but this one tames the beast inside me like no other. This is the Daddy.
