As cheap as this tent was in price I couldn’t not try it. I love the color and it’s the perfect size for a light weight solo tent. Backpacking, bushwhacking or a bikers tent it’s perfect. I’m 6’ tall and can sit up in it cross legged. Roomy from side to side just enough for a good nights sleep and to store your gear out of sight. Now for the only bad things. The nylon on one of the tie out points was frayed out of the package. Not a huge deal. Can be fixed with a lighter but should have been caught. The other was the stitching wasn’t there at the end of a pole loop. Again not a huge deal I can fix it with a loop stitch. Sad to see but it doesn’t effect the functionality of this awesome little tent and for the price I’m saying it’s a great buy. I’ll field test it soon and see how it does to moisture but again if I have to waterproof it myself for the price then I’m pleased. Nice tent ... show more

It was really easy to set up and tear down. This tent was really light and made it great for overnight hiking. I used it on top of San Gorgonio Mountain in SoCal and it did great. It was really windy that night and the tent held up very well. It was a perfect size for one person and because of the size it made it really easy to fold. I’ll probably be using this in the future because it looks like it’ll last me a while. ... show more

Please, do not actually use this tent in foul weather. It's single wall, little mesh and no seam tape. It's a good tent to use for kids learning to set up a tent and to practice "camping" in the backyard where they can run inside if it rains. I brought this tent for indoor use. I wanted something I could use if the power went out, long term, and it is excellent for that. Between this tent and my winter sleeping bag I stayed nice and warm with the house down in the 40s (f). But I wouldn't trust it outside in the rain or snow. It's worth the price if you don't expect more from it than it can give. But remember cheap can get you killed. ... show more

Not water-proof when delivered, but I sprayed it with water-repellant ($10,00) and it worked. Seams were weak, started to tear and needed re-inforcement. Light-weight and met my needs. Later found another tent 1# less in weight, only using trek poles for support ppl.

This was great. It was light, easy to pack and carry, and easy to setup. Stayed dry throughout the outer bands of a tropical storm that caused nearly 24 hours of rain.

Wish it had more ventalation for summer, the top doesnt expand or open properly and the steaks are too thin n weak. Luckily I had 4 spares. Other than that, for $20 its well worth the price n takes less than 5 mins to assemble without instructions. Big bar upfront. Little bar in the back
