I love the color, we got grey and it’s a perfect shade. The tray is nice to hold drinks and a phone or tablet, but not a huge cup. It clips on so it as stable as maybe one with hinges, but it’s fine. Exactly what I wanted. I did add a small pillow to my lower back or you can just slide the included pillow to the lumbar area as I don’t care for a head pillow. This lounge chair is quite comfortable when using the cushion, headrest, and footrest. The left & right side reclining lock mechanisms resemble a flat gear, so once you've found the ideal reclining position and the 2 lock handles are engaged, the chair will not slip out of position. My physical height is 5 ft. 8 in. and this chair is a perfect fit. The chair and cushion come wrapped in clear plastic bags, and ships folded up in a large double walled cardboard box. There is no other packaging material inside the box. The chair frame is steel, so expect this chair to be a tad heavy to carry. It would have been nice if the cardboard box had a handle or perforations for a hand hold, as carrying this box up a flight of stairs by yourself is a bit awkward. The chair is assembled with a combination of rivets in some locations and long screws/bolts with nuts in other areas. Don't worry about the nuts coming loose - looks like the manufacturer used self-locking 'elastic stop nuts', they will not vibrate loose and can only be removed with a wrench. The chair comes with an eye mask and a set of ear plugs (?) which I guess someone thought us consumers needed. What would have been a smarter add on would have been to include a few Velcro straps. When you fold the chair up for storage, there are no lock pins to keep it folded up, that makes it awkward to carry or lift out of a car trunk. At least with some Velcro straps you could secure the frame from opening up while you lift or carry this chair. Very happy with this chair. ... show more

    • Top pad is not what it seems!

This chair lives up to its name: zero gravity, able to recline to exactly the spot you want it. So it is highly comfortable, but I'm less than 5' and only 95 lbs. I don't think a large man or woman would find it as comfortable. But the biggest reason for the 3 stars is the flimsy nature of the top pad. In the website photos it appears to be made from a rugged material. It's not. Think of very thin clothing lining, the kind used on inexpensive clothing. So thin that it won't last more than one season, if that. There is no way you can leave this out in the elements. Moreover, the manufacturer used such small and flimsy pieces of ribbon for ties, that you won't want to try to tie it back on every time you take the pad indoors to protect it. So the pad will just hang loose and you'll be frustrated because it will fall off the lounge every time you sit down. I mean, how much more would it have cost the manufacturer to put a 5" piece or ribbon on the corners, rather than 3"? Would I buy it again? Probably not... Would look for one that I didn't have to bring in the pad every single night. ... show more

This chair is a good idea as a concept, but not so good in function. First it needs better engineering on the function of open and close. The Up-Down Latched function for locking and unlocking adjustment positions is very UNEVEN at best. Materials used are okay, but badly coupled together. The idea for the design is good. The Design as is is 50/50 at best! Disappointing because materials are wasted. I'm a small frame person and still the weight of about 165lb is too much to operate the locking mechanisms under the arms smooth. They do not operate well and catch on an-inbetween locked position. Not completely locked. For that one must have to lean forward or get up to completely engage them. Also the backrest of the frame of the chair when in Sitting position is non-adjustable to a comfortable back recliner posture. You're sitting Half Way forward with your feet somewhat forward too. As you completely go back in a horizontal position it's okay. But halfway before that you are as if packaged in a suitcase for transport. That's not a good engineering design. More: the back feet of the frame which hance is part of being forward in That's done so as you completely recline back it evens up. Yes, but I don't just want to be at 0 zero gravity. I also want to sit. Imagine you're in your car and you rotate the side nob or electric adjustment button for the seat to sink in the back part as you sit. Then you adjust the backrest forward. That's how uncomfortable you will be as if you HALF Folded the chair with yourself in it for transport. Needs a lot more redesigning at the drawing bord for $80 or $120. I'd give'em $25-$30 bucks for it. Maximum if you are a Small person and a Masochistic Contortionist.....-:)! Sorry, very stimulating language but It's True! I'm not,. So that's a problem. Now if a big person sit in it mine is the XL say they get XXL. No matter. They will break it after short use and being fat is OKAY. Being Broke or Hurt or unable to maneuver the required elements to enjoy their purchase is NOT OKAY. We come in all sizes and in America we have taller or larger people who deserve as much as the rest of us to be comfortable. Problem is I'm A Midget comparative to some people and I'm having problems operating the knob's as I sit in this thing. North of that it's okay. Good luck Returning back from Zero Gravity to Actual gravity if you don't kill yourself trying. Terrible execution of design. Sit at the drawing board and build a chair that works. The materials used for my size, not great but okay. Too much plastic at joints. Won't last. Great Idea. Bad Built! Sorry! Waste of materials. $5 at a yard sale $25 retail! Ciao!
