Great size but it does not work well. Copper tubing for the worm is too small and heats up way too fast even with low heat. It can be made to work but it will need some modifications to work properly.

It took me a couple days before I unboxed this. Wasn't packed very well. Worm was just flopping around in the worm barrel and was bent up and damaged. The assembly instructions were useless. I got lucky and found a YouTube video for setup, even though it showed the thump keg assembly incorrectly. Both silicone seals on the pot and thump keg leak very bad. I lost a LOT of steam. Had to make a quick paste to try to keep from losing too much vapor. If I would've been doing this on a propane burner (which I had planned), it would've blown up like a bomb! I wanted to try it on my electric stove first. Good thing I did. The pot has a surprisingly thin bottom, so it warped after the first use, and started shaking violently back and forth. They provide no attachments to hook the water line up to anything. All in all, I had to spend about $60-70 at menards to buy longer steam hoses and connection fittings. After i saw how bad the seals leak, I requested a replacement unit. I sure hope the replacement is better than the first one I ordered. $240 is quite a bit of money to spend on this, as it's really only about $100 worth of materials. The only way I would be more upset about the quality of this unit was if I would've blown up because of all the seals that spewed super flammable ethanol vapor straight down on the burner! I sure hope the seals in the replacement are correct, or I will be requesting a complete refund, instead of having to pay even more money to get the correct stuff for it. I will update my review after I receive the replacement. I am truly hoping it's just a defective unit and the new one will work as intended! UPDATE: Recieved new still a few days ago. This one was packed much better than the first one. Got it all set up and ran 2.5 gallons of bottled distilled water through it to clean out any residue left from manufacturing. This second still leaked WAY worse than the first one. More vapor escaped than was distilled! I made a quick paste of rye flour and water to patch up the leaks, but it literally leaked from every single possible place. I was pretty pissed about the whole situation until I opened the kettle after it cooled down to find a TON of rust all over the bottom! There were deep gouges in the inside bottom of the kettle, which rusted quickly after only running 2.5 gallons of bottled distilled water through it. Needless to say this thing is going back and I'm buying from clawhammersupply.com Do not waste your money on this piece of Chinese garbage!

Works okay but if you leave liquid in it to cool it rusts quick. Also a cleaning run is needed every time, otherwise you find metal pieces in the mash

This thing is a piece of garbage, the condensor is way undersized, the pump they provide has no way to regulate water flow through the condensor. I was making good product but no matter how i tried adjusting water flow to the condensor it continued to overflow and put out the flame of my burner. I would not purchase this product until the manufacturer provides a condensor big enough to handle the heat.

My wash is ready to go and as I'm putting this still together I realize that one of the corrugated pipes is missing! Going to have to try and figure something out. Will probably have to bypass the thumper keg which is the only reason I bought this set up. The pot's bottom is also thin. Burnt the first round of wash that I tried to make in it. Ended up having to use another pot. The instructions are also garbage. Extremely vague forcing you to try and figure a lot of things out on your own. Print is so small I had to use a magnifying glass to read it. Then you have to run vinegar through it first?!!! Then have to throw away your first distilled liquid? What? Very unhappy right now.

DO NOT BUY!!! absolute junk from the cheap china stainless pots that will bend trying to put the covers on, to the short useless piping they provide that has thumper and worm floating 10" off the surface. thumper is .5 gallons at best and then should only be filled 2/3 full. 2-3 gallon is the correct size for thumper. worm half the coil doesn't even sit in the water. nothing seals no matter how tight you try with wrenches. this is by far the stupidest Chinese design I have ever come across.

This is the second one I've tried. Just like the first one it starts to wobble as soon as it starts heating up on a glass top stove and it gets worse as it continues to heat. The bottom of the main bucket is simply not flat. Might work well on a gas stove or a non-glass top stove. Oh, and I tried an induction stove and if anything, it was worse. Returned. Again.

I spent over a month making my mash to distill down for a party and bought this still to do it. I assembled it per the instructions very carefully and got to work. The still boiled my mash very quickly and evenly but almost every O-ring provided failed and started to leak alcohol vapor, Even the lid was leaking. I will not buy from this company again. Waste of money.
