This book is beautiful - bought it just for the spine color, and it’s as gorgeous in person as I imagined. I was disappointed that it shipped without a plastic covering or protectant of any kind; usually these books come in a plastic sleeve. It rained the day I received this book, and I met the delivery man at the door, but the back of the book was dirty from rubbing against the wet cardboard box. I scrubbed it and the dirt mostly came off, but the book has some water stains. Not the state you want to receive a new purchase in.
