I work for the company that has the big brown delivery trucks you see around town. Im up/down, in/out of the truck 100’s of times each day making deliveries and pick ups. Boots are short lived. They wear out fast. So I went on amazon to shop online for rock rooster boots. . That is what i wanted and amazon slyly added some off brand copies within the myriad of rock rooster boots. The price was half and i totally wasnt paying attention and bought the off brand. I was so upset when these Sureway boots arrived. I wanted to return them. I was ready to, but thought I should put in the insoles I purchased for the boots and see how they feel. I slid my hooves into this knock off brand and i was blown away. Sooooo comfy. Sooo great all around. I’ve worn these every day during peak holiday season. No problems. I’m in N. Cali and we been hit with insane rain storms we havent seen in decades. My boot disappears in oceans of rain puddles amd not a single drop of water inside. Socks dry. Water tight all these months since they arrived in mid november. It is now mid january amd still dry as a whistle inside and still super comfy. I’m buying a second pair in case they stop manufacturing. These are gonna last me a lonnnng time. Forget the negative reviews that slam these boots saying not grippy, not water tight, not comfortable. Maybe issues in the past, but now, today, none of those issues. Solid work boot. The slip in chealsea style boot saves you time amd no laces to come loose and make you trip on either. Buy buy buy. You wont be disappointed. I wouldnt take the time to write all this if it were not the case.

I was skeptical about buying this brand of boot. Fits great, well made, and nice appearance. I don't think there was a break in period. I will buy this again in the future and will let others my satisfaction!

I have been looking for some slip on duty boots for a while. I came close to purchasing a more known brand but it would have been at twice the price. I decided to give these a shot, and I have not been disappointed in the least. I had a little worry that the elastic sides would not keep the boots securely on my feet, but after wearing them over 12 hours straight, they stayed on my feet without ever hesitating of coming off. The insoles make them comfortable on the feet. The build quality and materials seem to be very durable for the price point. I love being able to just quickly slide them on and off. Fit of them is also spot on based on their sizing guide. While I did not need composite toe necessarily, for just a few extra dollars, I was able to get that piece of mind. Overall, I am very pleased with these boots. I would give them five stars, but it is obvious they are not one of the top tier competing brands. But, for me, I am just happy it is a good looking boot that is comfortable, decent materials, and all of this is at the perfect price. I will definitely consider them again when it is time to replace these. I have already been able to talk my wife into a pair for her, and she has been pleasantly surprised as well.

I got these as a quick slip on boot to go into the garage, work on projects around the house, take the trash out, etc. I had been running an old pair of shoes with the laces knotted in a really loose fashion. Those old shoes were tossed. And I am finding myself just using these boots for everything. Fairly light for what they are (I am sure the composite toe helps with that weight). Comfortable enough for all day use. Warm enough for some cold weather use. Apparently waterproof, and they are for what little snow use I have put them through. Have not tried actually standing in water. They slip on easy enough without actually having to work at it. Have not tried running in them, probably not a good idea. They are fairly firm, but not too stiff. Really surprised I like them more than I was wanting to.

Some interesting particulars going on with these boots. The following describes the pair I received for eighty dollars: Good looking boots. A supple leather upper in reddish brown. The toe is composite safety material a the style is very round and “dumpy” looking, but that is personal taste. Fit and finish are just ok for the price. Seams inside are not super smooth, but the only issue - SO FAR, as I’ve not really worn or broken them in yet - is the sewing bulge at the top of the right boot, see photos, rubs my ankle. May be an issue. There is one visible scratch on the left toe, see photos, but no signs of being worn. Sizing. I ordered a 9.5, which is what I normally wear in boots. It usually allows for a thicker sock to be worn. I wear powerstep orthotics, so the removable insole was key to my purchase. With my powerstep insole - about the same size as the original - the boots are just too big, even with hiking socks. However! They came with an “extra” set of flat insoles marked “9.5”. Interesting. With these inserted under my powersteps, they do come close very to fitting. Just a tad roomy. BUT, I must figure if I’d ordered a 9.0, I could’ve just left out the filler insole and just my powersteps would have been fine for a proper fit. Hard to know, but you MAY want to order a half size down, at least in this case. [edit: after wearing for a week I don’t think ordering down would have worked. The boot is none too *long*. My toes would crowd if it were any shorter. I have not decided if I will send them back and try this yet. Overall, while… complicated? ..These seem like decent boots. The leather looks nice and like it will polish well. [edit: a week in and the pigment is very shallow. The slightest rub reveals an ugly scuff and the dark brown is fading off the toes. Will polish which should give some more pigment and a waxed seal.] Still, they don’t quite seem like a bargain at $80? [edit: no bargain. $40-50, as is: ok. At $80, spend the extra $ on a good brand.] Your mileage may vary.
