Good value for the money. It is vacuum-sealed into a thin brick. Add warm water, and it expands into sphagnum moss. 7 ounces will be enough for a 25 gallon reptile terrarium. It is odorless and clean. You can also use this for potting epiphytic plants, as this moss does not contain chemicals.

I really love this moss for my tortoise sanctuary. Compared to some other listings this one looked more green and I liked that a lot. It seems to have upheld the color decently. It’s a great addition for the habitat. It was nicely packaged tight, but it spreads into a lot. I was able to have more than needed to create a little river effect. The little guys love it.

I made my hermit crabs a moss pit and they sleep in it nightly! This moss doesn’t have a weird smell like some of the others I’ve come across and a lot comes in the small package! Lightly spray it down with water and fluff it I haven’t even used 1/4 of the pack!

It's moss. You put it in a tub, pour some water over it and it rehydrates. I used this moss for moss poles for my plants. My ONLY complaint is that it dries out really quickly. I don't think that's the moss's fault tho, it's the time of year and the humidity, or lack there of in my house.

Quality moss! Got it for my jumping spider! It's safe to use for animals because it's clean, no bugs I. It. It's soft and spongey. Holds moisture well. It's brown in appearance but it's growing for me.
