  • AMAZING BOOTS FOR HD DIESEL MECHANIC
Size: 9.5 Style: Soft-toe Black
& just like that folks I finally found a boot that works! I’ve tried Dr.Sholls, Cat, Brunt, Timbs, Sketchers and all of them wore out easily whether the insoles or the outer breaking apart or just heavy to wear. These have to be the most comfortable shock absorbing boot I’ve ever just slipped on. These insoles provide maximum amount of comfort with a firmness for all the support I need. I’m on my feet 8 hrs a day & if not in a catchers position for the majority & these leave my feet feeling as energized as they did before work. True to fit. Company is American & has been around many years I would highly recommend this to any mechanic ... show more

  • Excellent in every way except one painful one.
Size: 10.5 Style: Composite-toe Black
Ok... In 80% of things about this boot I love. I have messed up feet, yet these are comfortable and supportive. They have good tread and nice carbon fiber toes. I like how they look, and how they feel ... Mostly. The only problem I have with these is how stiff the tongue is. Even with me trying to soften it by moving it back and forth several times every step causes pain below my shin. After one day of wearing I have bruises from where the tongue presses against my leg. They are so good in every other aspect however than I am trying to get creative. I've worn them one day and I've done all sorts of gardening and even working on my car... And by the end of the day, oh my gosh did my ... Ankle shin? I'm not sure what's that called between your ankle and your shin... Anyway I will include pictures of the bruising and pictures of what I'm trying in order to fix it. I will probably still order and wear these because they are so comfortable everywhere else, even if I need to wear some sort of under shin guard for the first few days to break it in. I currently have the tongues clamped backwards and I will be leaving it overnight like that. If that doesn't fix it I will edit this and let y'all know. But I'm expecting that will fix it. Again, I can't say enough of how well it fits, how nice it is to just pull them on without anything complicated, and I know it's advertised as water resistant... However that's only if you don't get any water on the stretchy part. ... show more

Very comfortable station boots. Easy to slip out of when having to put on the bunker pants.

  • Easy to Use but Easy to Break
Size: 10.5 Style: Composite-toe Black
This boots are fantastic, the traction on them is unreal and they are super comfortable, but my only complaint is the wear and tear on them. In just a few months of wear, the sole starting ripping allowing water to get in and the back wall of the boot started peeling off and getting small pieces of plastic in the boot. If you don't mind reordering every few months or only need them occasionally these are nice boots that come in a large variety of sizes. ... show more

  • Great for the money
Size: 9 Style: Soft-toe Black
Im a mechanic and these are durable I've had them for 7 months now and wear them every single day and the sole is not worn at all. I got those on my normal size and they fit well. The slip resistance is honestly impressive. Oil is constantly on the ground in the shop and I have not slipped at all. Cons: they tend to get a little warm when wearing them for 10 hours straight and the in sole that comes with the shoes are not the most comfortable. So I changed those pretty quickly Overall for the price im happy with these ... show more

  • Save your money and buy authentic Redback boots.
Size: 10.5 Style: Composite-toe Black
I'm typically hesitant to buy products that are a direct clone/rip-off of a well known product but at the price and after reading so many positive reviews, I figured I'd take a chance. I should have trusted my gut. These are horrible. I've worn these roughly 100 hours over the past 2 weeks and they're still just as uncomfortable as they were straight out of the box. As a note, I have a slightly wide but overall neutral foot and have tried multiple different inoles over the past 2 weeks with no real change in comfort. The fit of these boots is just weird. They're super loose around the heel but super tight across the instep/vamp. The midsole offers absolutely no cushion at all, relying solely on the insole for cushioning. The supplied insoles are comfortable enough but they're thick in the arch/ball are which exacerbates the tightness in the instep. The composite toe box protrudes into the inside of the sock liner all the way around, causing rubbing on outside of the pinky and big toe as well as across the top of the toes. During the first week of wear I sprayed the leather in the tight areas with a stretching solution (Alcohol/Water) before wear and conditioned them at the end of the day with neatsfoot oil. Although the leather does seem softer, neither of these had any effect on the tightness in the instep. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. These are cheap, Chinese junk These have the look but not of the quality. If you want Redback boots, buy authentic Redback boots. ... show more
