  • Incredible!
Size: 7.5 Style: Composite-toe Dk Brown
Omg I love these shoes! I signed up for one of those “forge your own knife” classes and the teacher gave very specific instructions on what to wear (natural fabrics, protective gear, leather boots) and I didn’t have anything like that so I quickly ordered these after spending about 10 mins looking through all the options. I’m so glad I went with these. It took one day to break them in and then they were nice and comfy. Very lightweight but when one of the forging tongs dropped on my foot it protected it perfectly. Was also able to handle hot scales or sparks occasionally hitting them. True to size (because of the toe shape it’ll feel bigger then you’re used to if you wear knit or high top shoes all the time. I have some minor foot issues (I typically wear 3D printed insert) but these were comfy enough to last a 4 day class, my lower back was still sore after standing 8 hours on concrete but that’s not the shoe’s fault, NO ONE should do that. 10/10 I recommend these. ... show more

  • "SUREWAY Boots: Comfort and Safety for Daily Work
Size: 9.5 Style: Soft-toe Black
From the first moment, these SUREWAY work boots impress with both their durability and comfort. They are made with full-grain leather, a very resistant and high-quality material, which is noticeable to the touch and in the boot's robust construction. The slip-on design is a great advantage: they can be easily put on and taken off, saving time during the workday. They also have elastic side panels, making them even easier to use. One of the best features is their dual-density PU and rubber sole, which is not only slip-resistant but also shock-absorbing, offering stability even in demanding environments. Furthermore, these boots have anti-static properties, an important plus for jobs where there may be a buildup of electrical energy. For those who work in fire stations, mechanical workshops, or industrial environments, these boots are especially useful. SUREWAY describes this model as “Fire Station Mechanic / Industrial Construction,” indicating that they are designed to withstand heavy use. In terms of internal comfort, they feature a padded tongue and a soft lining, which reduces ankle fatigue. The structural support is reinforced with a fiberglass herringbone, providing stability without adding too much weight. Users also note that the leather softens after a few days of use, further improving the fit. And, according to reviews from people who have used them in real-world work environments, they offer excellent grip on slippery floors and a secure feeling while moving. The value for money is another major advantage: you're getting premium materials and safety features for a very reasonable price. ... show more

  • High quality for half the price
Size: 10.5 Style: Soft Toe Brown
"I’m honestly blown away by these. They are every bit as comfortable as my old Wolverines but at half the price. The build quality is impressive; they look and feel like a high-end boot right out of the box. Just a heads-up on sizing: I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my Wolverines and the fit is spot on. I’m still working on breaking them in, but they already feel great. If you're looking for that premium feel without the brand-name markup, these are it!" ... show more

  • Excellent in every way except one painful one. Excellent in every way except one painful one.
Size: 10.5 Style: Composite-toe Black
Ok... In 80% of things about this boot I love. I have messed up feet, yet these are comfortable and supportive. They have good tread and nice carbon fiber toes. I like how they look, and how they feel ... Mostly. The only problem I have with these is how stiff the tongue is. Even with me trying to soften it by moving it back and forth several times every step causes pain below my shin. After one day of wearing I have bruises from where the tongue presses against my leg. They are so good in every other aspect however than I am trying to get creative. I've worn them one day and I've done all sorts of gardening and even working on my car... And by the end of the day, oh my gosh did my ... Ankle shin? I'm not sure what's that called between your ankle and your shin... Anyway I will include pictures of the bruising and pictures of what I'm trying in order to fix it. I will probably still order and wear these because they are so comfortable everywhere else, even if I need to wear some sort of under shin guard for the first few days to break it in. I currently have the tongues clamped backwards and I will be leaving it overnight like that. If that doesn't fix it I will edit this and let y'all know. But I'm expecting that will fix it. Again, I can't say enough of how well it fits, how nice it is to just pull them on without anything complicated, and I know it's advertised as water resistant... However that's only if you don't get any water on the stretchy part. ... show more

  • Solid, comforatble boots but major interior flaw
Size: 11 Style: Soft-toe Black
Bought these a couple of months back to replace a pair of slip-on Chelseas from Timberland - my second pair - which I don't think Tims make anymore. I was skeptical and almost bought a pair of $200~ boots because I was concerned about durability - especially in Chicago's notoriously sludgy salty winters. While I have yet to test them during this winter season, as it hasn't begun quite yet, so far I'm impressed with their comfort and feel. They just fit perfectly too, which is something that I can't say about a lot of other boots. I got them on sale for $80~ and feel like that's a fair price. I'll update in the spring to see how they've held up. Update: After the first year of owning these boots, I have some thoughts. I can't recommend them. While they are comfortable, there's a plastic that goes around the entire back and side of the heel and around your foot, and after about a year the plastic begins chipping. The chips are always small but break off in little squares about 1/4" in size, and it feels like there's a sharp pebble in your boot. Throughout a day of wearing and walking in them, this happens 2 or 3 times. It's super annoying, because otherwise the boots have held up well over the course of several winters in Chicago. I just don't think it's worth buying them when you can get something better that will likely last a lot longer and for less money. Also, I work at an art school and these boots squeak LOUDLY on any linoleum polished floor - which is all the floors across campus. Not trying to go full stealth but the squeaking is embarrassing and crazy loud. Mostly it's the chipping that drives me crazy. ... show more

Boots are fine initially. Sadly inside material lasted about 6 months with a few times a week use not even daily.
