Leaks continuously
Nice gun and stand and it does work cordless BUT it leaks continuously. It leaked at least half of my glue stick under an hour. So I will be returning it bc all my glue sticks will be half wasted.

Be ready to waste glue!
I bought this last October, but really started using it this past spring. It was fine for a couple months. Now it just leaks glue like crazy! I went through my last bag of glue sticks in days! As you can see by the "mountain" of glue in the pic, as it sits in the holder, the glue just keeps coming. I have emailed Surebonder TWICE now and they have yet to respond. I had better luck with my $5.00 Hobby Lobby glue gun. VERY disappointed!

Don't believe the negative reviews!
I have hand strength issues and I do my crafting and a very small space, and there's always a clutter of items while I'm creating. When I was building my ink pad storage system out of foam core board my glue gun cord kept getting in the way and I got so frustrated I could spit. That's when I decided to shop for a cordless glue gun. I watched YouTube videos until I was blue in the face and read everything I could find. I wasn't willing to buy something with a battery pack or something that was commercial grade because I really don't use it that often. I watched several good demonstrations of the surebonder cordless 60 glue gun, and though there were some negative reviews, I took the plunge. The price was right and the trigger looked like it would accommodate my declining hand strength. Was my old guns my hand would begin to shake uncontrollably when I try to squeeze the glue out. I set it up today and did my own test. This baby gets HOT, the glue flows well when you pulled the trigger, and it's easy to use. You do need to follow the directions about putting in your glue sticks and letting them sit in the chamber while it warms up for 5 minutes because I believe if you are in a hurry and can't give it time to do its job that is what causes a lot of problems. I set a timer for 5 minutes and it was ready to go when the beeper went off. Then I put it back on the dock just because I needed two hands and I start of the stopwatch on my phone. I was gluing all kinds of scrap cardboard and cardstock together and it didn't become difficult to squeeze the trigger until it was approaching 6 minutes off the dock! At that point the glue was cooling off a bit, the bond was a little bit more lumpy than I would have liked, but that far surpassed my expectations. I did not get any dripping on the glue pad, I feel confident laying it on its side with the wings so that the glue does not back up into the loading chamber, the indicator light lets me know when it's on, and I don't have enough good things to say about this piece of equipment. I am storing my ancient full-size and mini glue guns just in case I have the occasion to have a group crafting session somewhere. all in all I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a cordless glue gun and didn't want to pay contractors prices for the big name brands with the batteries that you can change out for different power tools. also I didn't want something that you could plug into a USB outlet because I don't have one near my paper crafting desk and it would have been very inconvenient for me. This is a win-win purchase.

Best glue gun for teachers!!
This is the best thing I have found for keeping posters and charts on painted brick walls in my classroom! I used Gorilla glue sticks with it and they peeled right off at the end of the year without taking the paint off with them. This glue gun is portable and makes it easy to use anywhere. I can hang things in the hallway without an extension cord, use it up on the ladder and not worry about tripping on a cord and take it to another room to help a fellow teacher without carrying a cord. The drip plate is AWESOME!! I accidentally left this on the whole weekend and when I got back to it, the plate had collected the glue that dripped out. I do not recommend leaving it plugged in for the whole weekend, but it didn't burn up or affect the usage of this gun. I do wish it had an auto shut off feature for absent-minded people like me, but I was happy to see that it caused to harm to any surrounding area or to the unit when it was left on.

Perfect, just know how to use it
My boyfriend used this glue gun for decorating his pumpkin this Halloween and hated it. He needed something constant though as he glued on (what felt like) a million candy corns. (He was making his pumpkin into a puffer fish) So, naturally, the glue gun kept needing to go back on the charger/warmer/stand. Well, I've used it for more practical projects and it's absolutely perfect. So, if you need something more constant, go for a plug in, but for most arts and crafts projects, this will probably be just fine. The instruction sheet says it's good for 2 minutes but I think we used it with success for much longer when doing the pumpkin - I'd guess closer to 5 minutes maybe. But that was also with giving it a fair amount of time to heat back up, too. Anyway - my point is that I love this glue gun!

Dissapointed....loved it till it stopped working
It was working great.....until today!! The mechanism that pushes glue stick, when I pull trigger, stopped working!!! I have to push it by hand using another glue stick to push it. I'm really sorry that it only lasted approximately 6 months. (NOT used in summer at all). I work pt at a school library so I used it at the beginning of school year to decorate, and then maybe a few more times. Now that I have the book fair coming up, and I really need it, now it's not working. While it did work I loved it, but I think it should last longer. I have a small one that must be like over 10 years old at home and its stull working.....& that one I've used plenty with the grandkids and other projects. I bought the cordless one to leave at school since it would be easier to use without a cord. I'm really disappointed that it stopped working so quickly. ☹😖😡

Will not dispense the glue.
I love the idea of this glue gun and love the design. If it actually worked it would be great but it just refuses to dispense the glue. The tip heats up and it works for a while, even drips out the glue while in the stand, but then the glue simply will not come out despite being fully charged and having a very hot tip. And yes, it's charged. I left it in the charger for over 20 minutes and the trigger simply will not push the glue out. Very disappointed as I love the design of this. I'm going back to my wired glue gun.
