Best hot glue sticks you can find! You can’t beat the price and they are actually cheaper than purchasing the crappy ones at the dollar tree. My hot glue gun is my best friend and I only use the gorilla glue brand. You can actually see the quality difference between the cheap ones and these. This is absolutely overpriced garbage. I have used many different brands of hot glue sticks in the last 10 years and these are by far the worst quality of all. They aren't clear, they take forever to dry, they don't hold well, the glue peels right off, and the stringy mess they leave behind is ridiculous. It takes 2 of these sticks to do the same amount of work as other glue sticks I have used. The price is really high for the amount of sticks in the package. I tried these solely based on the reviews which I regret. From here on out I'm just sticking with the one's I get from our fabric store. ... show more

With all the pumping up this product was given by both the product page, and a youtuber that I will not identify here, this disappointed me greatly. It did not work as well as some of the totally clear sticks I have used, and of course it is not clear, it's cloudy, so if it shows at all the project is trashed. If it had been stronger it might have been worth the issue of making sure it was not seen at all. It also does not hold a coat of acrylic paint well. As a multimedia artists I want that in a glue stick, because we often use glue sticks to create texture as well as hold items together. I don't want to have to do a coat of gesso or something over before the paint coat. Not to mention two of the clear gessos did not stick either. So it was a black or white gesso double coat, and then the paint. Most textures are lost after the second coat of gesso. ... show more

ONCE IT IS STUCK, IT'S STUCK!!! You literally have about 10-15 seconds to remove it from most things once applied. I use it to build foam core dollhouses, and so far, all of them are 100% still secure and over a couple years old. I first bought it from Walmart but there are a lot better values on Amazon. It's Gorilla... it's not going anywhere. I also have fixed a few pieces of furniture (nothing valuable and mostly just weird stuff) with it and it works better than wood glue as long as you have grooves for it to settle into. Hot glue doesn't dry 'flat,' so keep it in mind. ... show more

Gorilla Hot Glue has a better bond than your run of the mill hot glue. I bought it as an add on item to try it out, and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve used it to glue things back into place in my RV, and to fix/fortify my kids’ train track accessories. It holds well, and I highly recommend it.

Hopefully the "gorilla" monkeonkier will result in simian performance to superglue, or I will chimp out, go bananas, and act koko. I have a mini glue gun, and these mini sticks are great for small spaces, cramped areas and welding 20-ton "I" beams. Of course, you can always cut down longer sticks into smaller sticks to get the same effect. What was my point? Oh, these are a bargain when shipped with Amazon primate. ... show more

    • It’s convenient but is it efficient?

To preface, I am a teacher, so I use a TON of hot glue. I put new things up on my wall anytime my student do something good. It’s called the wall of fame. I was in need of a quick and semi cheap hot glue gun because as I stated… teacher (inexpensive is the only option). The hot glue gun that pairs with these glue sticks would arrive in a day and came with hot glue sticks. GREAT! Answer to my problem. And at first it was worth the money. A cheap solution for a semi cheap problem. In hindsight I wish I had gone ahead and gotten a full fledged hot glue gun. This mini runs through the sticks which means you have to constantly buy more. I have also noticed that the things I hot glue to the wall, such as paper, comes off the wall in 3-4 weeks. Which means I am never done hot gluing. I have to pull it back out every 3/4 days for the new wave of flying paper. It feels like Harry Potter with all those letters flying about in the living room. I think if you are doing SMALL projects and need a small gun go for it. But if you are going to use it frequently for jobs to last a while I’d go for a bigger and yes more expensive option. ... show more
