  • This Is The Best Topper I Have Ever Used
Size: Queen Item Display Height: 3 Inches
I needed to replace a ratty, torn-up memory foam topper, and this thing had the best price-point to best reviewed ratio. Turns out the ratings are spot-on. This thing is great. I am always hot when sleeping, so I liked that this one involved "cooling gel infusion" or whatever. Sounds like nonsense, but this IS significantly cooler than my previous conventional memory foam topper. I have a BedJet as well (check it out—it's a game-changer), and this topper with cooling-tech plus a BedJet is positively delightful. I also use bamboo sheets, as they breathe the best in my opinion. It comes in a box about the size of a compact microwave oven, and maybe 35lbs. The topper is compressed in plastic, which you will need to remove so it can expand. The instructions say it needs 24 hours to fully expand, but mine was fully expanded about 7 minutes after I opened it up. Not bad. No chemical smell; no smell whatsoever. I'd say that compared to the median memory foam, this topper might be classified as medium-firm. Definitely firmer than most memory foam I've experienced, but very comfortable. I can leave a tall glass of water sitting on the mattress and be bouncing around on the other side of the bed—it won't spill a drop. So if this is for two people, you won't bother each other rolling over. It's a cooling gel memory foam topper for $120 (for queen) that ticks basically every box a memory foam topper can possibly tick. If that's what you are looking for, this is what you want. ... show more

  • Is soft but a firm soft
I actually am very happy with this product. However, I feel that it could be softer which means I probably should’ve bought the 3in one which my roomate actually has and her bed was like melting into a cloud. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone. I also noticed that it’s a bit bigger than my XL twin bed but it could be that my bed is not an XL as the university says. However the extra inch to the side is not bothersome. ... show more

  • PERFECT!
I bought this to go over my college dorm mattress. The mattress was horrible, I could feel every single spring and the padding was nonexistent. With this mattress topper…I never had 1 night of bad sleep again. It was amazing, so comfy, and I couldn’t feel the springs at all

  • Definitely works for some
Size: Queen Item Display Height: 3 Inches
Update: it's been 7-8 months now and I'd probably write the exact same review today, it's not degraded or sunken at all. First things first for a time reference: I'm writing this after having had the mattress pad in place for a bit over a month. Second: mine and my husband's experiences with this mattress pad are different. For me, it makes me hot when I sleep sometimes but it hasn't done the same for him; I'm an EXTREMELY cold sleeper, and he's a hot sleeper, so the logic there doesn't make sense to me, but it's what's happening. I'm not really sure if it's made a difference in my sleep quality; I think there's a good chance it has, but I'm a wreck and always have been when it comes to sleeping so I just don't know. My husband, on the other hand, has been acting like we live in a whole new world now. There was the pathetic world before the mattress pad and now the world of endless possibilities after the mattress pad. I know it sounds dramatic, but I'm not the one portraying that so give me a break here. He'll use his lunch break to just lay on the bed, laughing while excitedly hunkering down then falling asleep as quick as he always does. The impactful difference comes into play with pain; he's said many times now that the typical 'being a person who made dumb decisions while younger' back and joint and muscle pains just aren't really there now. I find it wild that a mattress pad could assuage so much (and I'm envious), but it's definitely working for him. I do find the thing comfortable, but I'm guessing my sleep problems are far more deep-seated than my external conditions so I'm a bad gauge anyway. Therefore, my husband's experience is the one that's really relevant here: for him it's apparently some sort of miracle. Logistical type info: I was looking at mattresses for a long time; we have a harder mattress. I'm a side sleeper with a pretty massive disparity between my waist vs hip/shoulder measurements, so I'm just... BENT all the time as my torso part is gravitating to the mattress but the other parts are too big to go any further. I wanted a foam-type mattress due to that, but I know there are usually problems involved with them (for whatever reason it's like a decent percentage of them just fail and sink after a year), and also Husband insists he does better with a hard mattress. This led me to believe we should get a hybrid, but those are gougingly expensive, which is gross, plus if the foam fails... it's stuck to the rest of it. Seems weird that it took me a long time to realize adding a mattress pad to our harder spring mattress literally creates a hybrid, but there it is. * I've read reviews about this falling apart or tearing after a short period of time; I went into the purchase knowing it's not really meant to be as long lasting as mattresses claim, but due to my husband's quality of life apparently sky-rocketing, I won't have a problem paying to replace it every 6 months (I mean I will, I'll hate doing it, and hopefully it will last longer). On the other hand if it only lasts a couple months, I'll be revising the review angrily, I'm sure. I'm only a bit over a month in, but the pad feels like day 1. I bought a waterproof, deep pocket mattress protector at the same time, so maybe that helps keep it from drying out, or maybe it's geological or seasonal... I just don't know why some people's fail far more quickly than they should but it makes sense to me that a waterproof protector would help with it drying out (as a ceiling or regular fan can't be hitting it as directly all the time). I'm not an engineer or a physicist, I'm just explaining my actions and the outcomes. ... show more

  • Just a large sponge
Size: Twin XL Item Display Height: 3 Inches
I found it had to get in and out on the bed with this sponge. I should have sent it back but it was so big and the box was thrown away. Any way It wasn't what I expected.

  • soooo comfortable!!
Made a huge difference in the comfort to the bed. The first night I slept through the night and woke up with no hip or back pain! Very reasonable in price for the quality.

  • Very comfortable but a bit short
Size: Full Item Display Height: 3 Inches
This is great for my very uncomfortable college bed. I always get compliments on how comfortable my bed is. The only downside is it’s a bit short. If I line up the end only the topper to the edge of the mattress, there’s a pretty big gap at the top. I just take a blanket and fill the spot then put my sheets on so it doesn’t bother me too much but I think for the price, it should fit better. Regardless though, it’s extremely comfy. ... show more
