I got this one because I was looking a robot-style model that works with the Kaiyu app. It was a fun build, but the left+right sides, with the gears that mesh with the treads, didn't build straight. This is a wonderful STEM set for the suggested age range, it is a lot of fun to build and put together, there is so much to choose from as far as the direction that you want to choose to go in to put this together. The pieces are great quality and are very durable especially for this age range to work with. These lego-like kits are a real challenge for younger kids, but they can do it and will probably get the most out of the experience. Start them out young! The bricks fit together almost like legos and the robots function as expected until you build something totally new.

Suplanet 5-in-1remote control robot present challenges for my ggreatgrandson, which is what my intention when choose this toy. He like to explore, experiments, modify things. The included instruction booklet provided idea for 4-5 shapes, however all the parts are kind of confusing, are not always fit together and/or taking off easily. After a few bums and with a little help/ assist he seem to start master making and “program” the robot. We’ll see how long this toys will last. -- ... show more
