  • ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER!
Team Name: M (Neck: 16"--18'' Weight: around 50... Color: Metallic
Firstly I want to say I’ve always HATED these collars and hated to see them on a dog. It made me sad. I never in my life would’ve used one. I only put regular collars on my dogs to walk them (bc their ids are on them) but I attach the leash to their harness. Never their collar. My boys are 2. They pull me all over the place. To the point where I’m getting hurt. (Shoulders. Knees. I’m old lol) I had it up to HERE with being dragged down the street. So I researched and this got the best reviews. Even by ppl who felt the same about these collars. So…I bought them. Dude. I have 2 totally new dogs!! They work like a DREAM! 2nd day using them and we encountered a neighborhood lady and her dog. My dogs go NUTS when they see another dog so I usually have to grab them by the harness and hold on tight and they just pull like crazy. Today, we rounded the corner and there was the dog and they started to pull and then they relaxed because they felt it and they did get a little excited, but not to the point where I was the day before when I had to use all my strength to hold them. I was able to control them so much better with these collars. I’m hoping I won’t have to use them forever just until they understand but if you have a dog that pulls….run, don’t walk, to your keyboard and order these. Now!! PS don’t let them fold in half. Learned the hard way. They get stuck together and it’s a bish to untangle lol Def worth the price. ... show more

  • Best training investment.
Team Name: S (Neck: 14"--16'' Weight: around 35... Color: Metallic
My dog is an extreme sniffer, once on a leash he spends his entire time with his nose to the ground, not caring in the slightest about listening. I've tries many forms of collars, harnesses, and head collars in an attempt to stop this issue and to aid in training him. (To understand the full scope, it took weeks of dedicated training to make him understand the concept that a walk means he walks in front of or beside me, not sniff in a circle until he feels a tug because he's fallen behind.) I had always heard negative things about prong collars, but in my desperate attempt to get my dogs attention I finally did some research into them, and after testing the feel on my own neck, I can say this is hands down the best training tool I've tried. I use it along with positive reinforcement to work on head up=good. He doesn't tug, pull, and jump to try to get where he wants to smell anymore, he just doesn't like the feeling, and understands that if he walks along, head up, the collar is loose and comfortable. It's a work in progress, but this is the farthest I've gotten with him after a frustrating 5 months of nonstop trial and error. The quality of the collar itself is also a huge plus. I really don't know what some of these reviews are talking about, it's incredibly easy to adjust the size of, I did it all without even the pliers the package reccomends using. I really enjoy the rubber tabs the collar comes with and the fact it's not a choke collar/prong collar combo, but simply a prong collar. The double d-rings for hooking the leash also help keep it extra sturdy. My only thing to say is measure your dogs neck!! The weight reccomemdations have my dog at a medium, but he fits most comfortably in a small with an extra prong added on to how the collar comes straight out of package. ... show more

  • Easy to use; works well

I’m about to order this product for the THIRD time. Here’s the deal. I love it. It’s great. It keeps falling off. I have no idea how or why but my pooch has lost the other 2 and here I am about to order my third. 4 stars with 1 star deduction because it keeps falling off!

  • Excellent if you know how to use it
Team Name: M (Neck: 16"--18'' Weight: around 50... Color: Black
This collar instantly transformed the walking-on-a-leash behavior of my boxer/tasmanian devil hybrid. A few responses to the negative reviews here: 1) The leash attaches to the collar via two metal D-rings. If you attach to only one, the plastic latch will be under pressure and yes, it will break. You'll also cause some discomfort to your dog because the pressure will be off-center. As long as you attach the leash to both rings, there can be zero pressure on the latch—and even if it did snap, there'd be little chance your dog would escape. I can't figure out any way that the latch could break if the leash is properly attached. 2) Some have complained that the links are "impossible to adjust." I removed two, tried the collar, and then added one back using no tools. Place the collar edge-down on a table and you can flex the links into place with your fingers. Just push down against the table to compress the wire. This collar is sturdy, attractive, and reliable. If you're tired of being hauled around by your dog, this is a game changer. ... show more

  • 70lbs Doodle
Team Name: L (Neck: 18"--20'' Weight: around 70... Color: Metallic
The media could not be loaded. Tired of getting a double arm workout on top of a chaotic walk? Done with the intense tugging every time a squirrel or cat decides to grace you with their presence on your walk with your dog? This is the collar for you. It works INSTANTLY for us with very little redirection. We have a 1 year old doodle who actually even hurt my shoulder a couple of days before investing in this collar due to her pulling. The collar is metal, thick and medium-heavy. It comes with plastic prong caps for every link and an extra link. They are easy to put on each prong. It is a clip collar and has a double ring for the leash. We thought it was a bit big for her but the purpose of the collar is to lightly tighten on their throat to stop them from pulling, it worked for us. It is easy to put on and off. Our dog tried tugging once and quickly retrieved bc she hated the feeling. It did not hurt her but it was no comfortable bc she did not do it again. Guys, I loved this product. I recommend it. ... show more

  • First prong collar I've trusted 110%
Team Name: XL (Neck: 20"--23'' Weight: around 9... Color: Metallic
I have a XL Bully who very very strong and tends to pull when he gets overly excited. I have struggled to find a prong collar that I trust 100% as most have the weird tension clips that once in a while randomly unclip. If you don't have a backup lead on that could end very badly. I no longer have to even think twice about that. Love that the plastic clip inside slides to lock and also has two metal rings to attach leash to. Also comes with rubber protectors for the end of the prongs which is super nice for my dog's short coat. Would purchase again for sure. ... show more
